I predicted this would happen already.

If it would be hardcore all the SC players would whine over it. Now its a SC and now all the HC players whine about it.

I will be playing this but casually. As a non-hardcore player I will be enjoying this. I can see how HC players do not like the SC though.

Not because of build limitation.
Not because of itemisation.

My speculation here is that it's partly due to the time required to design and balance two one-month leagues over just one (time that could be used for the actual new leagues in August) especially considering the care that's required to make something actually fun and worthy for hardcore, rather than just frustrating.

People should realise that this league is almost like a 1 month race, not a regular league. Races have been almost exclusively HC since GGG started doing them, so I don't see the reason why we shouldn't have an SC one for once. I personally like how it's not seperated, because if there weren't so many elitists, it'd attract more people.

If you're that desperate to prove how hardcore you are (more like how hardcore you're taking it in the asshole every morning if you need to prove that), you can just delete your character when you die and constantly update people with your 0 deaths screenshots.

My only complaint is that it isn't all the mods at once, I'd say it'd make for a more interesting experience.
