8 hours a day is a luxury you might be able to afford but to many that would also be in the 'abandon rl' realm.

I don't think that's a valid solution at all. The prizes are cool, but I want a SC league for the enjoyment I get out of playing a softcore league, complete with economy and rules binding everyone. If there were a softcore league that bad equivalent ruleset but no prizes, I would definitely be happy. Some people would complain about unfairness, but all I want is to enjoy the game and SC is what I enjoy the most.

I Only really play hardcore and delete my chars when they die apart from the most recent one.

Just curious if everyone making noise about it been SC can understand that there would be as many people, if not more, who want a softcore race rather then HC.

Why do the HC players need to be catered to? The last event was HC which may well have dissuaded many SC players. Doubt any hardcore players really gave a thought/shit about that.

GGG said themselves that they made leagues like invasion to kill the players. Thats why what there doing here, making the most deadly league yet softcore, kind of a complete 180. It'd be much better to have the same league as both hardcore and softcore, just a seperate stash and zones is all thats really needed. I understand development time is an issue.

The last race was 2 weeks, yet this one one month. So why isn't it one 2week softcore and one 2week hardcore at the very least?

It's not HC being catered to, SC has more players, and as you can see there getting twice as long a race league as HC did

having a one month HC league means anyone who dies at the end of week 2 will have zero incentive to make a new character

the best way to get the most involvement for a one month league is for it to be non-HC

Okay, what does you get to the conclusion that a ADDITIONAL HC Version would be "bad for business"?

As a Hardcoreleague player you allways start a new Char, even if it is allready 2 weeks in.
You collect items and currency for your legacy League Chars.

A Softcoreplayer therefore could go in a HC setting and Rip his char in the end to get the Items he wants into his Lecagy league.

A buisnessman should also consider, that this way some players won't be bored after dying 2 weeks in, as you mentioned yourself, others would be bored the whole month for not getting their daily adrenalin dose.
Which buisness modell do you imply to sell off more Stashtabs or Char-Slots in the end?

Could you Imagine a HC Guy buying Stashtabs after this League? Not at all! His standard stash is empty 70/80 stashtabs i assume.

I myself never played HC Mode in any Game b4 POE (Level 73 D2 HC once^^) but i learned to love the way to play a game that way. I'm long way from having seen everything in this Game cause i suck at it and die much more often than others can count, but i have FUN doing so and therefore "+1 for an additional HC Version"

I find literally nothing appealing about this event. Looks like ill be finishing the race season then taking a break.

I have a question why have all these different modes when league specific uniques have no chance of dropping! It would have been great for people that are starting out now to be able to get the Uniques that they missed out on cause they did not play Ambush or Invasion! My question is what will happen to the character after one month? Will items be lost or will it go back into standard league?
