Announcing the One-Month Leagues (and Ambush/Invasion Challenge Winners)

If any of you devs are reading, please explain what made you decide to make this league SC?

I'm really happy to see that it is a softcore league, otherwise I would have had to wait until the new 4-months to play PoE again.

crappy prizes, also there should be fixed prizes not only random
invasion was still a bit unbalanced an with onslaught is going to be worse

Would be an epic 1month HC league ending in onslaught, nemesis and invasion combined - hard when you are ready for it.

this format wouldnt really work on hc I think, too many random deaths due to the mods adding up

you won't get to 90+ if you die all the time since you lose xp when dying.
and 10% xp loss starts to hurt once you reach level 8x.

I don't think that's a valid solution at all. The prizes are cool, but I want a SC league for the enjoyment I get out of playing a softcore league, complete with economy and rules binding everyone. Some people would complain about unfairness, but all I want is to enjoy the game and SC is what I enjoy the most.

I Only really play hardcore and delete my chars when they die apart from the most recent one.

Just curious if everyone making noise about it been SC can understand that there would be as many people, if not more, who want a softcore race rather then HC.

Why do the HC players need to be catered to? The last event was HC which may well have dissuaded many SC players. Doubt any hardcore players really gave a thought/shit about that.
