[1.2.0] "Forcefield" - Flameblast - EB/MoM/Block - Atziri & Endgame Viable!

Yes I highly recommend Incinerate with this build. You will have to make some slight tree modifications (remove any burning dmg/crit/EE) but it's really strong even with a 4 link. I would try Incinerate - LMP - Faster Projectiles - Spell Echo - Added Chaos - Fire Pen in that order.. getting a 5 link and Added Chaos is a HUGE damage boost.

I need some help as i do not understand 1 thing and thats about atziri fight.
My stats are :
Block 78/75
Resis all 77
Hp 3500
Mana left 1600
Armor 1000 +
Dps with conc effect 2100.

I have watched the video of play-style at the atziri fight and i dont get it he just stands and fights her.
However in maps i cant die im standing in the middle of double crema boss firestorm and take 0dmg.
I dont get why the same is not applying when i fight atziri. I can manage to take 1 3rd of her life pool but then im dead :)
And im lvl 90
Thnx in advance

Running either Purity of Fire or Lightning over Discipline is something you should be doing for that fight and if you don't have enough mana regen then try to get better jewelry with the stat or pick some more mana regen nodes on the passive tree.

During the split phase it's important that you attack the one with the spear as that's the one who attacks the fastest, which means your EE will always be applied between each of your FB casts.

You might also want to consider increasing your life a little bit since Atziri hits hard and you don't want to end up dying before you can react.

Good use of resistance flasks and also use a mana flask over a quicksilver if you're planning on standing still taking all the damage.

You're going to be having no trouble clearing the waves during the add phase so since there's no rush you could always use Enfeeble instead of Flammability to make the fight safer, at least until you can make your character stronger.

As for all the other questions, yeenzoo and dandan88 pretty much answered them all already. Thanks again!

Running this build but for Incinerate in the 1 month HC race! Level 88 at the moment, it's freaking awesome. If you're interested in my gear and passives you can see them here: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/978160

Looking good! I'm impressed that you managed to survive without the Cloak of Defiance, and now you can't get one because of that crazy 6l fusing luck! Very unfortunate ;)

I don't understand how you can live without the flask nodes and "Adrenaline" on your QS. I'd never be able to do it, The Anvil just hurts to use if you don't have a way to go fast. You can also squeeze out a little extra movement speed by buying a quality Arctic Armour.

To be honest, I haven't missed the Cloak... block and the cast when stunned set ups provide plenty of mitigation. Having 100+ base life chest piece helps as well. Gonna pick up Templar aura nodes, and run Purity of Cold next 4 levels.

I know how good flask nodes are but the movespeed really doesn't bother me.. positioning helps I guess, as I'm rarely out of Quicksilver. I want to put myself in a position where I can channel Incinerate for as long as possible, and kill as many mobs without moving.

run Purity of Cold

I'm not sure why would you want to run Purity of Ice - do you lack cold res?
If not, it's useless aura.
After several successful Atziri kills and some 78 maps, I've decided to share my slightly different version. Currently at 86 level.

Tree:

As I said before, I've decided to go for burn rather than initial hit, so I took both Immolation and Holy Fire passives.
Since the defence is really solid, I dropped Inner Force. I've also dropped Elemental Equalibirium - for me it's useless.
Also went for Deflation (block passive) taking Power Charge on the way instead of 4x INT. It's just shorter if you don't need 3x 8%HP. I might change it in the future, after couple of levels.

Gear
Spoiler

Biggest upgrade would be 6L COD. Then probably mirrored gloves with 250ES+ and similar Helmet with 300ES+, but that's like hundreds of exalts.
I will probably leave it as it is and just yolo-exalt gloves, belt and rings.

Stats:
Spoiler

-4020 HP
-3350 mana (of which about 1.7k is unreserved for MoM)
-77/77/77 ele res and -33 chaos res
-about 275 mana reg/s with Clarity
-30 HP reg/s
-78 block, 76 spellblock

Thoughts:
With this build, Atziri is a piece of cake. Just remember to have 1x Topaz flask for Vaals, at least 2-3x Bleed Remove for Trio and 2x Ruby for Atziri.

You shouldn't have any problems with Vaals, they are extremely easy if you take Purity of Lightning instead of Fire for this fight.

Trio is quite easy too. At first, I thought manual Immortal Call will be necessary, but it turned out you can fight them even with regular CWDT setup.
Just try to take out Cyclone guy first and then remember to avoid chaos clouds.

For me, Atziri fight is the hardest part, as I often forget to LW out of her Flameblasts or pop up a Ruby flask. But all in all, it's quite easy too.
There is absolutely no problem in killing her minions - they die to proliferated burning instantly.
The only tricky part is her split phase. You have to pay attention not to hit the one with a mirror with your flameblast.

In terms of maps - I never skip any bosses, even if whole party is like "i'm out".
Shrine piety with -max res and +% lightning dmg? No problem.
Courtyard with extra dmg and cast/attack speed? Easy.
Double Dominus? Totally doable if without any other dangerous mods.
Unique maps i.e. Death and Taxes? Piece of cake!

With modifications, the damage is quite good even in full 6 parties at 78 maps and you don't have to fear even double reflect.
When solo, clearing maps has the same, very good speed as other burn-prolif builds like Fite's DD.

Nice job on the Atziri farming, still yet to do it on mine as I play HC and am scurred! More likely to do it on my Incinerator I think.

About Purity of Cold, it will overcap me for Ele Weak and I run in a 3 man party for maps and with it we will have all the auras covered.

yeenzoo, you're making the wait until the next 4 month leagues even harder when you keep posting about how you've changed things around and how successful you are! That and the new information about the upcoming mini expansion is almost too exciting! HYPE!

I'm impressed that you're able to do the trio with a level 1 Immortal Call. I was scared doing it with a high level gem and before I know it was possible I never would have thought to rely on CWS/CWDT to cast it for me. Now that I've seen people die thanks to letting IC fall off I'm more scared of doing it selfcast.

I love when that happens! Especially when the map has insane damage mods and people call you crazy!

You'd be surprised at how easy it is. I played it safe my first time and after seeing how easy it was I stopped dodging any of the damage in my later attempts.

Right now I really want to see the updated tree, not just the small teaser they showed us, so that I can play around with it and come up with the most efficient path for this build. That large block node by the witch starting area looks interesting but I don't like that they've removed the flask nodes as I really liked having that extra movement speed on my quicksilver flasks.
I'm most worried about the second bosses, as one slip up there is pretty much instant death. Do you stick with your normal Cast When Stunned setup or go with CWDT, or fully self cast?

While I was still alive I was going to try selfcasting as I didn't think relying on CWS would work but then as I tried the fight on Standard I found out it actually did work. With the high amount of damage in that fight CWS would be better than CWDT in every way.

Of course in theory selfcasting would be better but there's room for mistake and you might not be able to focus on other things when trying to keep your IC up. Without any extra endurance charges it would be tough to do it manually.

Just make sure you keep Enfeeble up and kill the cyclone/bleed guy first. I'm not sure how powerful the reflect of the dual striker is if you leave him last but if it's not a problem then he should be much easier to handle than the rain girl. Blind, 78% block and AA should be enough to stop all of his damage.

Nice guide!

Are you using a q20 enduring cry?
