Also, until you can get a quality Flameblast I would recommend using a Chance to Ignite gem because without quality on your gems you only have 17-19% chance to ignite. I recently got me a 5L Cloak of Defiance with BBBBR. Unfortunately, I dont have enough chromes to throw at it to get BBBRR so should which red gem should I use Fire pen or Inc burn damage?

" If I were you, I would use Fire Penetration rather than Increased Burn Damage, as it's quite important for mobs that have any fire resistance. You will probably lack that 10% chance to ignite from Q20 burn dmg gem, but there is an easy solution - just put chance to ignite in your fourth blue socket. |

Just watched ZiggyD's latest video which was about Torture Chamber and it made me remember how terrifying that boss is for this build. The beam is degen which means it goes through MoM, Block, and because it's lightning damage AA/IC does nothing against it. Don't underestimate Shock & Horror. I've been testing out a version of your build, planning on using my variant for the upcoming 4-month. Thank you for the base idea, I've been facetanking map-level Vaal Oversouls with only 3300 health! So that you know, Incinerate/Echo vs. Corrupting Blood isn't so bad as long as you have an anti-bleed flask ready and you're smart about it.
I was wondering about some gear choices. I've been running this like you suggested, with Anvil, Rainbowstrides, and Rathpith. When I test out Lahzwar and some real boots (dropping me back to 75/75 block), I find that I really miss that extra 3%/2%. What can you say about this? Is that small chance to block really that important? I don't like the Anvil and Rainbowstrides canceling each other out for movement speed. |

Keep in mind that upgrade from 75% to 78% might look like "just 3% block more", but when you do actually have that 75% block, 3% more will increase your defence by 12%. And that's a lot.
It's easier to imagine with resists. Difference between 0%->50% is the same as between 50%->75% or 75%->87.5% etc. You reduce the damage taken by half. I need some help as i do not understand 1 thing and thats about atziri fight.
My stats are : Block 78/75 Resis all 77 Hp 3500 Mana left 1600 Armor 1000 + Dps with conc effect 2100. I have watched the video of play-style at the atziri fight and i dont get it he just stands and fights her. However in maps i cant die im standing in the middle of double crema boss firestorm and take 0dmg. I dont get why the same is not applying when i fight atziri. I can manage to take 1 3rd of her life pool but then im dead :) And im lvl 90 Thnx in advance |

Hey, this is a great guide! Thanks for making it. I just have a few questions regarding the build's damage with flameblast.
I'm using this build in the one-month league, and I'm primarily playing with a group of three of my friends; however, I feel flameblast's damage is a bit lackluster in comparison to their damage, especially when fighting high mobility rares and bosses such as Piety. I'm currently using a 4-link with 20%Q FB, 10%Q increased burning damage, as well as fire pen. and elemental proliferation. While I do plenty of damage on my own via warping in, charging a 6-7 stack blast, and burning groups to the ground, when I'm grouping with others, it's sometimes very difficult to land a 4-5 stack blast given the enemies' desire to attack my other non-tank party members, as well as slight FB mispositioning due to desync. My question is: Would you possibly recommend some other damage skill for this build that's perhaps a bit faster? I was perhaps looking at ice/shock nova, but my knowledge when it comes to the viability of certain skills in the game is pretty minimal. I understand I'd have to make some changes to the skill tree, but I'm thinking of running a slight variant of this build in the 4-month league, as I love the sheer tankiness of the setup. I appreciate any help you can provide. |

Im not an author of this build, but my 2c:
You can either go Detonate Dead (but it might be a bit risky in HC) or Incinerate (post just above you). Keep in mind that you focus on defence rather than DPS there. |
