Did a bit of snapshotting with low life spectral throw.

After I read news that they would nerf snap I began to use prism guardian and stopped to do snap. I lost A LOT of energy shield and lost a bit of damage too. What i felt more was the lack of energy shield.

At time I was not happy with all that loss of ES, but happy to not have to snap again. I think if Chris change multiplier from blood magic that would be nice. Like no multiplier at all. Then we lose gem slots but not Energy Shield stats that are required...

But I'm very happy to not waste time and need to do snap in each instance. This without doubt is positive!

I don't know about all the builds, but with prism guardian I still could run 8 or 9 auras like I did before with snap, I just lost a lot of ES, so I dont think mine snap was taking any advantage of a broken thing - though I'm glad that this will be removed and I dont need to anymore.

My point is: Ok, take off snapshot, just dont nerf nerf nerf. Make something viable in the place. I would be happy already with a blood magic gem without multiplier. Or maybe could increase reduced mana resevation nodes. I don't know, anyway, I already played mostly like the post nerf will be, not snapshotting, so I dont really care. Just giving my opnion, I'm happy with my build already snapshotting or not.

if you nerf snapshot for ALOT pple who plays effective - dont forgot NERF SPELL BLOCK ABUSE and start mara nodes - for BALANCE

it bad way if you dont give some buff minions after nerf, its really kill summoners, you always nerf somethine good for summoners, but not for stupid mara builds, because its your favorite melee char - push one button for win, how many need do summoner for win ? not one...

and yes say alot streamers big "ty" because they kill summoners when use bugs

why you always nerf somethine good for summoners ? nerf other classes too, example all my frends play mara, how most pple in invasion - its imbalance - correct that in tree, you want balance ? balance mara nodes and delete from him best effective start nodes

if we compare clear speed in middle gear for melee class and summoner we see very stupid situation in time kill, all knows that

give summoner somethine what help play without snapshot and we be glad
I'm glad snapshotting is going to be removed...of course that's only because I've never been good or smart enough at this game to employ it.

It isn't, items that allow for additional curses are trash, and curse cluster is pretty far away from just about anything. All those are intended drawbacks you shouldn't be able to cheaply bypass.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

So about that Summoners being unplayable without snapshotting, it's not entirely true, but they are so overnerfed that they badly need it to high-end maps, else the Summons die in a split-second to anything.

Also the early game of ANY Summons, are you kidding me, can you please start buffing them? They are pretty much "keep these gems on weapon-swap whilst leveling, because you won't level with this shit lol, go grab your generic Spectral Throw, Flameblast and/or Searing Bond ;)", I really hate the current phase of this game.

Yeah you have no idea what you talk about here man.. Getting to Lv 78 is like a cakewalk, it's 80+ where you start getting to the "high-end" maps, where your Summons dies to pretty much anything that involved double added damage or just crit, etc.

I bet these bosses you talk about is the typical shit "casual" (sorry if I hurt any feelings) players are scared of, like Kole map, which is a cakewalk aswell.

Summoners aren't fine, they have been complained about for ages, and for a good reason, they are way too weak early, they have a really strong midgame, but high-end map they are pretty much forced to re-summon 24/7 and with the current phase of reserving all of your Mana into Auras, good luck re-summoning 24/7.

ATM, PoE have a stupid playstyle they should look into.

Quite possibly the best video by a developer in any game ever. Well done!

Interested to see how this affects game balance and difficulty levels in the next expansion.

I know this wasn't an easy decision for you guys, but I sincerely believe it was the right one. In the end, it'll just be one more means of filtering those who are here for the game itself, and those who are just here to faceroll everything using someone else's flavour of the week.
