Wow, very nice pair of gloves to find, Tackle. Grats on those. :D

TBH that is probably the best rare item i've found in my 2500 hours playing this game. They're close to being as perfect as you're going to get for this build without wandering into mirror gear prices.
The 352nd character to hit Level 100 in Standard
The 82nd character to hit Delve 1000 in Standard
Been leveling and mapping in the temp leagues for the past week, came back to play my rainbownuker and jebus you can honestly see all the configurations done and how they make the build so much better than anything I've played, ever. I just can't get a better feeling of safety and deeps while mapping than on this character.

Also I've been playing around with the idea that chaosing/chiseling the high lvl maps for high IIQ is not worth it. Later on in the game at higher levels you're risking a lot of XP for a chance to get a "refund" on a lvl80+ map you're playing. If you happen to die due to the stupid hard mods, you lose the XP of the last 3-6 maps you've played which is IMO not worth it, in the long run you end up getting more XP/h (or XP/day) because of the hard mods not slowing you down or killing you. All the currency you save with not chaos/chiseling the maps you can use to get the same maps from others.

One downside to this is (IMO) that you can no longer enjoy the feeling of playing a hard map :D

Does anyone have an idea of how Headhunter works with this build? I'd imagine you need to find new other pieces as you lose the res from the doryani's belt but can get rid of some dex nodes/dex jewels/dex from gear.

Anyways, here is my current gear, jewels, flasks, and passive tree.

Gear, jewels, passives, flasks

Swapping Sapphire flask with Life flask sometimes (Life flask allows me to play comfortably with just +3 LGOH and I don't feel like I'm missing anything important with doing this.

I recently just swapped my Energy from Within jewel with the spell dmg + ES% jewel, I lost 172 ES (went from 8092 ES to 7920), but gained a lot of spell damage. Still need to mess around with the jewels to get stuff to work even better.

In my experience, this build dies far more to player stupidity than difficult mods...

I haven't had a death to a map yet that was because the mods were too difficult. I died once to a boss I shouldn't have attempted (onslaughted twinned -max +dmg crematorium). But all my other deaths have just been because I was staying up too late to get in "just one more map" and died because I made a stupid decision and/or forgot to use a flask when I should have.

Yeah, definitely like you said, it's harder to stop dying due to stupid mistakes, but stupid mistakes happen more and are more punishable by harder mods. I need to play a lot more of the 81 maps etc to find out if it actually is worth doing what I mentioned, at the moment though it feels like I can sustain the maps at the same pace, the only difference is that I can buy a couple more maps with the currency I did not spend. I think chiseling might still be worth it as you're just paying 1 chaos with no downsides to it at all.

I also feel like this is kind of a "stupid" move to not try and get high IIQ but I really want to try it out as an experiment where the map mods are getting increasingly harder due to mobs getting harder (they hit hard as fuck, when they get to hit you). The good side is that with alts you can try to roll the good mods like Blood magic and no regen and get the awesome iiq/pack size with absolutely no downsides. Then again using a lot of alts to that could be as well justified by just alch + chaosing the map.
I have to admit that the highest I've gotten to was I think 79, though I have one level 80 map that I am saving to pool up for later. From the maps that I have done, I've found that I seem to get map returns between 80%-100% and anything above that really isn't worth it to me. I know it's not enough of a sample size, but I still think that there is too much RNG at play behind the scenes and realistically the higher percentages only serve as a currency sink. With the new mods out, that seems even more true and I've had little consistency beyond the numbers I've run so far.

I've done some crazy combos like double damage with vulnerability and half regen, and I'm not surprised that when a map drops, it's a level 70-72 even though I'm running 76+ when I can. Even elemental reflect maps with Vulnerability and the like...things that I can run, just have to go slower with...I don't feel they're worth it enough to justify their difficulty. I can play 'safer' maps and still feel like I have a good chance at getting rewarded, even if it's still up to the RNG in the end, which I'm not happy about.
Hello there, Tom

I'm about to receive a corrupted Voll's Devotion Amulet (from the cards) in Warbands.

For your build and honest opinion, which 2-3 corruptions would fit your build best and worst? Is the loss of the original implicit a big deal now?
IGN: WildTortillaFart
Loss of the implicit is not a big deal, just the strength you get from it can benefit you. The best implicit for the voll's devotion is definitely +1 max all res. Second best might be +attack speed. +1 curse might be good too, but you'd need to run gloves with curse on hit corrupted roll and curse on hit linked to your main attack in chest, to get some use out of the neck corruption.

The only thing you could try and use it for is if you wanted focused burst damage on a boss and popped a Ruby Flask so you had high max FR for the time it allows to sustain it. Otherwise, I don't think most bother with it on this build variant.
Indeed, I saw a stream of some taiwanese guy playing a crit LL mjölner where he'd pop RF on uber trio/atziri to kill them really quick. Also noticed that he'd sometimes dual wield mjölners, isn't that supposed to be magnitudes worse now, due to the changes to dual wielding? Also one thing I noticed, the guy had somehow disabled all his spell effects, his screen wasn't filled with discharges, but rather the hue on the ground from the discharge, and the arc hits on enemies were only visible as well.
