Improving Communication: The Development Manifesto (Please Read First!)

"
Hey. Congratulations on the sequel. I hear a lot of people online complaining of the game being too hard. Just want to say, please don't listen to them

I am, not a huge gamer of ARPG, because they seemed boring to me. What is the point of all progression, gear grinding etc, when you just one shot room after room.

I remember was exited of D4, since it looked like the vibe of a game i was looking for after Elder Ring. However halfway to the second act, i just kept repeating same few skills, and remember got sleepy, since none challenge meant i don't have to engage with game at all, just autopilot.

I am afraid, if you make the game easier, the same could happen there, and i think a lot of people like me want to get into the genre, but there is no point of engaging in systems, when only difference is you kill a mob room in 2 instead of 3 seconds. I am oversimplifying but i think you get the point.

The souls games is a good example that there is a market for experiences like that, hart pounding boss battles, engaging combat focusing not just on RAW stats but player skill.

Second point i just don't want this game to be too bloated with skills.
I remembered playing POE one getting exited of the game, but when I saw how endgame moment to moment game-play, clearing rooms in fraction of second with flashes of absurd spell effects covering whole screen, just looked too bloated for my taste. Hope this game will look cleaner and more tactical in the endgame. Although maybe it is just the nature of the beast.

In sumary two suggestions: Don't make it easier (or add a optional easy mode), Dont bloat the engame ;)

Thanks for the best ARPG experience i played.

Maybe you didnt noticed but user opinions on the game are actuall feedback for early access stage and each of them is valuable.

What if another user will turn table around and apply yours "Just want to say, please don't listen to them" to your opinion/fedback and it bite your own arse?
My PC freez if i jump on location !Need hard reset 20x for day! Network latency stil drop from 12ms to 300+-ms ... big lags ! pls fix this..this is priorit number 1... Skills and another is not important ! now is game not playeble for many players ...

It's actually the easiest thing on the planet to understand if you just looked at a calendar.

To your point that there's a market for a souls like live service game. Let me ask you, how many times have you beaten the same souls game? Can you see yourself playing through the same one dozens of times a year for a several years? Most people that I know playing the souls like genre, don't replay them. The replay value may be there for some but the level of concentration required burns out many gamers.

To your second point, they have stated a number of times that all of the skills in PoE 1 will eventually be brought into PoE 2. Likely under one of the missing character/weapon types.

Third, I know I didn't quote it but you're saying to add an easy mode so that PoE2 doesn't seem like PoE1, I'd suggest they do the opposite and make a ruthless mode like they did to PoE1, so that everyone looking to play a souls-like game can beat themselves up there and let the base game become the ARPG that can appeal to the masses. I'd also say to give PoE1 a chance on ruthless because it might be more your style from the sounds of things.
Communication is a big problem that blizzard had.

They always said they would fix the issue and draft up something and then you'd have months without contact.

Communication is a company's biggest problem, and I doubt GGG is going to fix it with a letter.

Start with hiring a team to manage communication and give them the power to actually communicate.
