[2.2] Arly's Lightning Arrow - Elemental Pathfinder

Thanks a lot for the input!

Im aiming for 95+ so I will buy a coil and then buy the things you mentioned (rings/amu/quiver) that will work with the coil.

Do you think it will be worth it to fit in both rat's nest and a coil? Or will I lose to much on the rest of the gear to make up for it?
Since I need to get that int roll and resist on the rest of the parts.

If you would choose one more unique item togheter with the coil, wich item would it be?

Got a real quick question how do you deal with lightning thorns with this build?

This is my coil setup for my sword and shield reaver on standard, with ideal gear you can fit unique gloves, and boots and still have enough- in your case id use rare boots+maligaro+rat's nest. Keep in mind jewels give me about 30-40 all resists. Dedicate the belt and rings to resist, amulet for pure dps and get accuracry somewhere in there. The helm is a very inexpensive place to get int/accucary/life/res but I understand many players adore rat's nest for its mobility and damage.

I've honestly never had an issue with it. At the very least you always know its coming telegraphed by charging blackguards who often have BG casters behind them and snipe them with BR instead of LA.

Thanks again for the help.

I will play the trading game for a few days now and try to find gear that will work with a coil, rat's nest and maligaro :)
when would you recommend switching to a blood magic gem in my LA setup? currently leveling this build and even in a 4-link setup i'm having mana problems

At the moment there is little reason to use a BM setup unless you have very high end gear (6 link voltaxic + koam's heart) for example and want a third aura for grace or anger. A 6 link voltaxic using BM gem + anger will generally out damage one using a 6 link voltaxic w/o BM gem an you have the option to run grace+koam's heart which is the highest possible EHP of any bow build.

Try using an elreon ring mana gained on hit jewels to supplement your costs, neither should be very expensive.

Could you please take a quick look at my gear and suggest which pieces should I improve? I've a 5L Daresso, worth using?

Thanks!

It's not a terrible choice and allows you to CWDT+immortal but I'd still go for a 6 link high evasion rare or LC. If you want to go for insane dodge and ehp , pair it with a darkray vectors.

I would reallocate some of your resists on gear(Which have been itemized well), to your jewels if possible to allow for more flexibility.

I don't see a quiver.

I would suggest upgrading in this sequence:

1- Optimize your jewels and see if you can get precisely the following:
bow attack speed or lightning damage
10-12 projectile damage
1 affix for resistances - this will free up a lot of gear slots.

Then you should be able to get 50 int on a helm instead of tri res, free up your amulet slot.

2- Upgrade your amulet 36% lightning damage is less dps than 36% WED and does not help your shatter/p-charge generate at all. The int and life is nice though. Look for cc/cd, flat cold, flat light, WED and life/res if at all possible.

3- Upgrade your carrion gyre ring as its providing only a marginal amount of damage and additional stats. Try to get something with flat cold flat lightning and accuracy.

PoE is simply one big optimization problem and winning it means knowing where to get the most amount of gains for the least amount of cost.

Take a look at my gear progression guide in the main post to see how I allocated my resists, damage and life.

Now that I've hit 90 on my Chaos Char for the challenge I plan to roll a build that can work well with an Aura Bot, do you think this build can do well in a 4-man group with a 8 aura/5 curse Bot that runs Anger/Haste/Wrath for Offensive Auras in high tier maps?

E: I will probably be using a Windripper instead of a Voltaxic due to ele curses from the bot

This is one of the best builds to build into an aura support group. Drop wrath for grace and let your aura char supply the dps auras.

8 auras/5 curse will be far overkill even at t13-14 I suspect.
