" Maybe the downside is: YOCO You. Only. Corrupt. Once. You can't use a Vaal Orb on an Item that is already Corrupted, and a Corrupted Item cannot be uncorrupted. If you lost the Implicit, and now have a shitty new one, tough luck, the item is now useless. :P EA IGN: We_Have_Monk_at_Home

About the gems - I wonder if the lvl of the corrupted gem adds instantly or u have to lvl it ... I mean past lvl 20 ... imagine the time and exp :)

I still don't see the difference in those skill gems......
Either they increased the Quality level of the skill gems over 20% with the mini-expansion...or what EXACTLY does the corruption ?! From the Corrupted Sword that was postes a few days ago I can think that a Corrupted item have a chance to have one or more if not even all socket gems WHITE ! .... so... " Corrupted item and skills have until now been shown to have: -white sockets (gear) -changed implicit mods (gear) -more than 6 mods (map) -more than 20 q (gem) -higher max lvl (gem) So it seems that the corrupted status can change a LOT of parameters...
