Die for the first time...
One Shall Fall. |

" Love those suggestions! |

" This! It's way harder to do than 6-linking an item (which 'only' requires you to farm about 1500 fusings) |
|
Defeat X amount of lvl X players in PVP
|
|
"Six-linking an item is approximately the limit :)"
Not even funny! Mirror of Kalandra?

How about a "Get Normal Difficulty done in xx Hours/Minutes" or "Clear Act 1/2/3 (normal, cruel, merc) in xx Minutes" ? :)

i think there shall be some achivements, what will make death less painfull. here's few examples:
- "Don't hurry up!" - Die in last 5 (or maybe 10/30/60?) seconds of any Race, except Descent and Endless Ledge. - "Reborn by the will of God" - Die in fight with Dominus in Hardcore-league and Merciless Difficulty. so it's will be sad to die, but... you unlocked new achivement! :)) Life is short - deal with it Last edited by Dissolator#0628 on Jan 22, 2014, 4:39:34 AM

I for one never really care too much about achievements unless there is an incentive.
Would be cool if once you get all your achievement done you can choose from a selection of certain uniques. Or even some cosmetic effect like perhaps some achievement trousers :) | |
" They should just delete that achievement. It is fubar: Freeing the scion gives one dialogue option. Some have never freed the scion but started right away with it, the rest has probably never triggered all dialogues with the char that freed the scion (bandits etc). I usually don't like Achievements unless there are just a handful and well hidden. A List of Achievements is largely saying: "Hey, if you don't know what to do in this game we give you a list of simple task you can work on." Today it's mostly used to give players the "sense of having done something". Lots of games also keep Achievements as a driving incentive for players to continue playing the game instead of delivering quality content. I think achievements help with the degrading process of the gamer-base to a state where people are mostly helpless in games without strict direction and also lose the core-incentive of why games should be played: For the fun you have while doing so.
That being said, I think GGG does at least deliver a really good game with a lot of things to do instead of pushing achievements only. |
