Achievement Design

It's will be nice have opportunity to do Discription for each of my friend(like in WoW/LoL). And it's be nice have opportunity turn on/off friends anotation about login/logoff(that msg spam so much and i dont understend when some one join/leave our party.
Have 50 dominated minions simultaniously

This will require some effort to achieve, not fully dependant on luck if you know what you're doing, and it's just generally a lot of fun to do.

Is this a joke?
Change All Ears achievement plz, make it count all characters, it's already insanely difficult to activate all optional dialogues at the right time even with a list (that we don't have)
Oh I got to love that:

"Currently the limit is to 6link an item."

"We want achievements to be achievable....not 1000 hours..."

I've played 3000 hours+. Never 5linked. Never 6linked.

What I'd much prefer is an "achievement checklist" of about ten difficult, but plausible challenges. Perhaps integrated into a side-quest, somewhere around the library perhaps. It would be unlocked on Normal and rewarded on Merciless. The challenges could be failable and therefore the rewards tiered.
Return to this flameless sunder
Where exiles burn and the joyless wander;
Frozen lore beneath chaotic thunder,
Dominus returns to send us under.
"Avoid "Do action X times" achievements. It'd be super easy to add ones like "Kill 1000 Zombies" or "Open 500 Chests", but these aren't really very interesting."

Im not so sure Chris, i would like stupid achieves like that :D
>=====,',','
MASTER?! MASTER?! WHERE THE DREAMS THAT I'VE BEEN AFTER!!?

The 1.0.6 achievements are:
-Band Together: Join a public party

Probably I'll neve complete this one :P

Please no more "Clear full area X", they are just too simple and easy.

Yes, "full clear X" is about as appealing as "Kill 1000 monkeys" and "Open 500 Chests", though the latter two would occur naturally for me just by playing the game.
Wannabe Iron Man:
-Head out from town naked and only use stuff that you get from drops.
-Clear full act without accessing vendors, stash or trading outside party. Aquiring quest reward items would cancel the challenge as well (must exit when they're being offered to keep the achievement state).
-Must be solo or keep same party (people may leave party but not join after heading out)

True Iron Man:
-Head out from Act1 town naked
-Play through full difficulty without accessing stash, using purchase from vendors or trading outside party.
-Must be solo or keep the same party whole time

Hardcore Iron Man:
-complete wannabe ironman in HC

Heading out of town naked would trigger "So you wanna be an iron man?" event which would show status or "iron man timer, time spent as iron man in minutes" (could be a buff icon also, whichever is easiest/most feasible way to implement it technically) (e.g. when opening full map) that the achievement is ongoing.

Could be expanded to challenge or even challenge competition ("weekly/monthly season race" which could be repeated as many times as players want)by tracking for each difficulty lowest level of character or average level of party (when starting the challenge) to complete the achievement. Likewise the competition could be run based on whoever completes the challenge fastest (but then there should be level limits per difficulty below which the player or whole party must be when starting the challenge).

The conditions are easy enough to vary, thus there could be variants to the challenge by allowing certain items or skills to be used (or even spawning race chests to act starting areas after completing act I with few guaranteed common skills when the iron man status is active and first act has been completed). These provisions should be such that allow feasible completion of the challenge but would not provide way to gain skill/support gems any easier than they can be achieved by playing through the main and side quests). In harder difficulties the provisions could be naturally better.
Today I've been mostly harmless.

my ideas for achievements:

social - "join a guild"
these rhoas again - "die to a rhoa charge"
is this even a build? - "have 1 hp and 0 es simultaneously"
sturdy - "reach 50k (or any other number) armour"
businessman - "complete a trade with another player"
still alive, are we? - "lower the hp of piety in the crematorium to the lowest possible"
lucky day - "find a 5link or higher on the vendor"
so, about that fish.. - "find a fishing rod"

No achievements where you have to die to complete it. If you died you didn't achieve anything. You ffffed up.
