The Four 1.0.6 Summoner Skills

Well, the new skills sounds like fun. :)
But there are a few questions.

Summon Raging Spirit: Will they benefit from fire passives as well from minion passives? Eg. "n% increased fire damage" and "Minions deal n% increased damage"?

Desecrate: So this skill will summon corpses? Are they just cosmetic or "real" corpses? Can they "feed" skills like Detonate Dead, Raise Zombie and of course Flesh/Bone Offering?

Hope, that these questions aren't asked/answered before.

They've already stated that the summoned corpses can be used with all of those spells (as well as Spectres).

i would like it if you could elaborate on that.

as i see it it makes the game more shallow. you are pigeonholed into using a single skill with 2 or 3 supportskills.

while leechbased characters have no problem only using a single skill, try to play a trapper / summoner that is able to play without permaswitching out auras and skills.

about every char i made so far uses 3 more skills than the skillbars permits me to have as quickbars.

in what way is spamming a single skill deeper than alternating between 8 different skills?
This is gonna be my setup (might chance when i see passive skill tree changes though)

Left mouse button = Move only
Middle mouse button = aura button (3 aura's, 4 soon hopefully)
Right mouse button = Summon Raging Spirit
q = Raise zombie
w = Summon skeletons totem
e = vulnerability
R = Desecrate (great to have mass corpses available at all times)
T = Bone Offering (zombies can do quite some damage but need to keep em alive)

gonna drop spectre spell
Who cares about ice wizards now since i can create my own corpses *evil grins*

So my weapon/shield are to place aura's in
Main armor for zombies
boots for skell totem
Head for Raging spirit (with +2 minion lvl bonus)
Gloves for desecrate and bone offering.

This will be very intresting

Oh and might try mon'tegrul's now since i dont mind if enemy's explode by that ability (btw i DONT use clipping, secondary weapon sets are just for gem lvl'ing)

I'm only activly using arc (for EE) and 1 curse on my summoner, not sure what you are doing with the other 6 skill slots.. Before I even start exping I cycle my auras on 1 slot and it's not needed anymore after that so that clear up the aura slot. after summoning spectres and zombies I won't need to use those anymore so those can be removed aswell. Now what are you using while exping?
Btw, is it better to go Life EB summoner now or CI?

Just please make sure the new minion AND summon guardian/weap get Bonuses from the summoner nodes!!

more skills = more power
limited skillslots = limited power

you want to 4 link your zombies and skeles, go right ahead
you want to 6 link your spectre, no one's stopping you
you want curses with increased duration/aoe, doable too
you want a guardian, all the new spells, codt triggers, 5 auras to go with these? umm
you want a kaoms on top? UMMMM

if you're so strapped for slots (and you will be, I ran a summoner to 90 on anarchy so I do know what's up, if I ever got a 6 link on that league I'd have ditched one of my two curses) why not consider 3link zombies/skeles together on helm? put curses on your weapon swap? trade off some power for different power, ie meaningful choices?

summoner is very powerful during most of the game, though the minions melt if elemental boss looks at them funny currently, one of the builds' weaknesses is limited gemslots
