All summoner skill are homing skills, the diference here is that this one is a homing bomb and the others homing melee hiters (save some specters who are ranged hitters).

Neat idea, but probably won't be practical if its duration is very limited.

It looks cool. I don't really understand how it is a minion skill though. Maybe if you summoned a flaming pet that used this for an attach I could see it being a minion skill. Right now it is just a cool homing fireball :) It doesn't really last long enough to be a summon. I guess maybe with increased duration it might. Too soon to tell I guess.

That would be a spoiler and I think opposite.Show a skill at it's best then people are dissapointed when it doesn't look as good as they saw in the video when they come to use it.Its not hard to imagine what might be possible with this skill.
what would the maximum number of these minions be? In the Vid it goes up to 5... But placing a Totem (or two (3?)) with this could be interesting! :D
What if that level 30 character are using skill gem level 1? :D
Does anyone else think the fireball's initial placement is slightly off? Should appear at the end of the summoner's hands when they are outstretched (i.e. the end of the cast animation).

Yes, it's substantially different. This is much more similar to Summon Skeletons or Animate Weapon than to Fireball, other than the art being small and on fire. It's an individual minion that has it's own AI and movement, and hits things with melee attacks multiple times.


This sounds pretty cool. Will like to see this as it progresses further.
