These hammers can be easy bought at a1normal vendor u retards :)

Don't be so insulting.
People know that vendors 'might' have them in every ding.
The recipe is stated to help high lvl players, who, DING ONCE IN SEVERAL DOZEN OR EVEN HUNDRED MAPS.

Casually casual.

Even if the vendors were restting every 24 hours as they did in beta (as long as i remember at least) it would still be a joke.

This recipe is the 2nd flap in the face i take from GGG (1st being map only uniques)

It's really not that bad You can buy them from act-1/2 normal vender. So every time you level a guy go check for stone hammers.

What this recipe is going to do (imo) is make it easier for lower level guys to farm chisels without impacting the price on em that much. Currently on standard chisels go for 1ex per 40 chisels. With this recipe I see chisels going down to 50/60 per 1 ex that being said Id think more people would chisel that many more maps.

At high level(90+) let s say you take a level and do check all vendors that can sell this hammer. Even if you re super lucky and get 10 white stone hammers, that s garbage.

10 chisels = 40 whetstones + 10 hammers + 10 low maps...that s 2.5 maps chiseled \o/

At lvl 90 you need to do around 80ish maps to next level for vendor checking again. 320 chisels. (assuming you re lucky and manage to sustain 74+ maps.)

And honestly, having to buy 40 chisels for an exalt is absurd.

40 chisels = 10 maps...tell me when was the last time you managed to make an exalt worth of stuff each 10 maps ? :(
I'm not saying I plan on doing this recipe but I think lots of people will.As far as making 1 ex worth of stuff per 10 maps (not counting maps that drop)I would say its "close" to 1 ex worth of stuff. If you count all the alts/chroms/misc currency/choas/regal recipes and such.Just close tho unless you get lucky (I never do).
Well, I'm very pleased about new content for this great game, of course :)
But, well, as a lambda player, I think the vendor recipe mechanism is a bit... how can I say... not simple, and not very powerful.

It is great idea of course, and original too, but look to obtain an Orb of fusing how many time and others stones are require, for finally obtains a not so sure link add (most often links are removed). It is strange, because we certainly obtain a stone, for a probabilistic result. I mean, why to have a deterministic mechanism (like 4 jeweler's orb for 1 Orb of fusing) for a probabilist result ? It make crafting so unsure, and for good items, players will not try to improve them, and that's a certitude :)

A more safer (and cheaper) vendor recipe will be great, not all players want to trade stones or others things on forums.

Most of the choices GGG has made since coming out of open beta have bin very poor.I'm not going to waste my time listing them im sure most people already know all about this.
A cheaper recipe for chisels, wow, nice decision...

...but hammers?? Is this just a trick to sell more stash tabs? :P

Wow so much butthurt without even having being able to try the upcoming patch?
Chill out lol, we've just come out of the holidays ^^

So should we now travel through vendors to get hammers? Wow such interesting, wow such fun.

Please GGG reconsider this silly recipe (hunting for hammers, not all of them, just stone -_-, at lvl 90...)

Make it 1 map + a few alts = chisel

Simple is better than silly

oh, and hauling white hammers from maps, taking up space in inventory, using up portals, is a great idea, NOT!
