Yea... items can totally hold value beyond utility... This is 100% true, and you guys vehemently claiming its false just because you don't think these things are worth anything does not change this fact.

As for the actual topic... I really like the alternate art this time round. I will probably actually race for as many points as possible, tho I suck so I wont get far. Goal is the 80 point item, hopefully I can get it.

I must say, that the reward system as it is set right now it's not very good. The fact that you will get your rewards to regular HC league and not to the challenge league is quite inconvenient.

As it is now, the racing doesn't provide rewards for players playing Nemesis/Domination (75% of PoE population).

It would be nice to be able select the league, where you want your reward to be spawned as Removable Tab.

Season 1 was best because people did play regular Hardcore league. And for people from standard, all it was required was to kill your reward carrier. I hope GGG will reconsider this reward mode, possibly from the first race.

Didn't the last patch make it so rewards can be grabbed from any league now? Could have sworn I read that. And for future 4 month leagues they won't be available until 2 weeks into the league for balance.

So alive characters at the end of the race still go to dead leagues (vanilla HC)? Fail again much like last two seasons. Why not Nemesis (if necessary, add Nemesis mods to all races, would also be a cool addition)? Why this mistake again?


Not only you are losing on wealth gain when you devote your play time to racing instead of playing your permanent characters on average (for 99.99% of the racers, ie. the ones not getting the 1000 point reward, and even so probably you would be more wealthy if you devoted that time to your permanent characters). You can't start new alts while you race which was one of the cool things about races.

Never been a "hardcore racer" (lack of time to be dedicated to it), but my interest in races have been diminishing since Season 1 because of this things.

I haven't seen this mentioned much, mostly just item rewards... but I completely agree this would be awesome. Not sure how they could make it work tho, with nem and dom being different. Adding nem mods to races for the season would be cool, could also give future seasons a different flavor with each having that 4 month leagues HC mode by default. But since Dom is different with shrines, not sure if they would want characters dropping in there from races. Maybe dropping in from races messes with economy too much? If it's possible I would like to see it happen tho, mostly because making alts for races was fun back when I played in standard/hc leagues.

(1) Its not about the specific award necessarily.
(2) matter of opinion based on your geographic location
(3) is a universal issue not necessarily related to races and as it effects everyone, its all equal.
(4) Some people don't care and they just like to race
(5) everything is based off of RNG and since it effects everyone, its all equal.
