I really hope all goes well with the game. Are you going to change multi strike soon too since so many people use it as well? I use it. While you point out that the changes are better in the long run that may not be good enough for the player (paying especially) base. They are the ones who will ultimately decide if the changes were for the better. I hope you all have time/funds enough to keep this game going...

I was under the impression they nerfed the % of resists for each level but you are right, this 17% is only at a level 7 gem, not Level 20. ^^ Other point was, I thought GGG also wanted Purity to have 60% Mana reservation which would gave alot of trouble, even with Eldritch Battery.

But still not sure why GGG is so mad about additional max resists, as if +2-5% is so much more. Mobs have higher resists in PoE than the player can ever have, I'm sure.

As a mostly solo player, I've spent a lot, gotten some effects (even though I don't have anyone to show them off to). But all these recent changes really feel like punishment for solo players and make me feel like there is little interest in keeping the solo playerbase.

TLDR: Please try to find a better way to balance the game and keep it challenging for groups without making it virtually impossible for the average solo player to play.

Looks good. Oddly, I actually like the changes to Purity and the addition of the new element-specific auras. This allows one to still use Purity as a general aura, but then swap it out for a specific element for specific fights or maps to get a boost.

Not sure if I'm a fan of the new look for Charges. Hopefully they'll look a bit better from the default perspective. They seemed a little too simple. Perhaps make them a bit more translucent?

Also, WTF was that platforming game at the end?
To balance auras across single and group play, I can think of one solution:

When you are in a group the aura is reduced in magnitude for each person "borrowing" a bit of its power. Note that this is a solid nerf to team play, but the only way I see to curb party play dominance besides further increasing monster life/damage/resistances.

Not sure if this is the solution we need though...

I think it's because of party play, if 5 team members use purity that would translate in +3%x5 = 15% extra maximum resist for everyone which is a quite considerable amount.
Something is going wrong for this patch.

If this trend continue, as a solo player, I may consider taking a break for a while.
