Build of the Week 14 and a portion of the 0.9.13 Patch Notes
" The new curses do stack with Elemental Weakness. Also, I believe you've misunderstood the chest situation. We added so many chests to an average play-through that this is only good news. You will encounter many more than before, and they actually work as a proper ARPG game system now - random timing, random rewards. We feel that your posts in this thread are unnecessarily antagonistic. You've made your point and it's disturbing the thread to keep repeating it. We'd rather use the announcements forum for discussion of the news rather than misunderstood conspiracy theories of how we suddenly changed the direction of the game by improving it.
" The butthurt is strong in this one. Back to the new supports, seems like my original question has been answered along the way. So, if I have a hypothetical projectile skill with pierce, chain, and fork, which will be checked first? Will it check all and only do the one that is first in order, if multiple are successful? Or take the one with the highest "internal roll"? Or will it do it in order, if the chance should be 100% fork/chain, which I understood only works once? Aka, first fork, then chain. Or will having both just result in two homing projectiles, thus forking and chaining at once? And if arc has fork, will it split to two homing arcs after the first mob, or only fork when it arced to the next target for the maximum number of times? Zaanus:
Global chat: Mechanics for A work one way, B for another, C for a third but also with A, B uses C but not A, and D uses A&B but not C ___ Isn't a "no" better than an ignore? |

" Thank you for actually addressing this rather than leaving it phase itself out. On-Topic : Over-all, I am loving what we are seeing coming of .13, the changes to the elemental curses will be an interesting one, as well as the new skills. These changes may be enough to bring back my interest in a lightning build witch. I love the changes with the chests, but I do think clarification is needed. When you state dungeons, I am assuming places such as Submerged Passage, Prison, Chamber of Sins, etc... Or is this ALL maps? Honestly, I hope it is limited to true dungeon type atmospheres such as the examples above. This is also what I assume to be the case. ...narf

Thanks for the peek at the new skills and Chest drops, an improvement to the game I think as a casual gamer.
I am so ready for the ARC :))))) |

SqueakyToyOfTerror: It's all indoors areas :)

" I'll hold you to your word Chris... I would REALLY hate to see this game go down the same path, no pun intended lol, as D3. And it would appear that my point came across to you - good. This is one of the ONLY games that I've seen in a good long time - been gaming here when others were still in diapers lol, that is not crap and really fun to play. I've seen so many games go down a familar path and got worried this one might be leaning that way. I'll be watching closely... The Pope quit, a meteor fell on Russia, an
asteroid came close to the earth, there's snow in Arizona, star wars and star trek have the same director! Who the hell is playing jumanji?
" Actually no thanks if you were solicitating me - I already have a mate for that ;) The Pope quit, a meteor fell on Russia, an asteroid came close to the earth, there's snow in Arizona, star wars and star trek have the same director! " I bow to your skill in interpreting blurry graphics.
Spoiler
I just rewatched the video at 1080p after seeing your comment, and I have no idea what the blurry brown smudge on top of where you exit from is supposed to be.
Edit: I hope the in game gfx are better and just got smashed by youtube's compression deciding the details were safe to eliminate noise. Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason? Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
