The point of the example wasn't to discuss politics, thanks for completely skipping over the point.
The point is that when something doesn't even work on paper, pulling the "You haven't even tried it" card isn't relevant. Typically, if it works in theory it has a decent chance to work in practice. If it doesn't work in theory, the chance of it working in practice is drastically lower, if not 0.

Let me explain this:
1 Person deals enough damage to kill 1 mob.
2 People deal enough damage to kill 2 mobs.
In Merciless, mobs get 50% extra HP.
Now you have 2 people, capable of killing 2 mobs, who are now required to kill 1.5 mobs. If 1 person kills 1 mob in 1 second, it would take 0.75 seconds for 2 people to kill 1.5 mobs. Now tell me again how this isn't a direct nerf to solo play?
Chris can say whatever he wants. Again, this is the case of a theory not even working on paper. Auras are percentage based now. On a build that uses Life instead of mana for EVERYTHING, having a percentage of your life reserved with a high life pool is reserving more life than when they were flat. There was a reason BM builds never used percentage auras before now.

That 730 dps 2h axe was crafted by an obvious RMT so plz spare me the "how do you compensate the 100's if not 1000's of exalts invested into this item" bullshit. Such obvious RMT like should be ip banned from the game because they ruin the economy.
