Actually, that is less of a problem in my opinion. Necro Aegis is not used by all summoner builds. If we look at the extremist MF-lover, he may need the shield slot to account for the res loss from double Andv....ahem! A certain ring. But that's my opinion.

He wasn't serious when he said "250% life nodes would = 561 more life", was he? Even 200% is ridiculous like you said, it's like 80% of the entire tree. This buff isn't even a band-aid, it's a dabbing from a paper towel.


Yes life based characters use 80% of life passive nodes to get a decent life pool (4-4.5k). But they have armor = reduce phys damage , life pots , ALSO they can use es aswell for more life pool.

I have a friend who went full of path of life and he has 6k life without kaoms.

CI characters use 100% of es nodes to get a decent es pool. But CI users can be stunned almost on every hit cause of their 1 life. They loose one gear piece to get Eye of Chayula if they dont want to get stunned. Also they dont have armor (means no phys damage reduction) and life pots.

Most of you want hyper dps , less life and you get one shot by reflect.. and then you end up with " This game is unplayble! "

Survivability comes 1st , dps 2nd.. you know why? Because you cant dps dead!!

Edit: And yes +2 life on lvl with 250% is crazy life you can get. You could spend the time you used to write this thread on theorycraft instead , and do a build that is solid.

I see it like this: These guys put up so much for 1.0.0, while still not forgetting about some of the major balancing problems. +2 HP / level is, as mentioned before easily 500HP.
Now, if you have 5k HP, which realyl is a lot: Thats a 10% HP - Buff. Well, you still dont get 8k HP, but thats not the intention. ES-user need ES on their gear, which means they lose all the armour. Thats balancing from GGG. And its clever. And a lot of people like it.

you are an idiot, if i were GGG i would have never introduced any uniques to the game. The size of the patch is depending on the new content, eg new class, new zones, new maps, redesigned talent tree etc, this is actually a content patch, uniques means nothing.

I'm also a person who think uniques kind of limit a game. I never understood why people all want the same piece of loot, I like to be different not a clone. Ah well something for everyone I guess. I'd like to design some that a lot of morons would definately want to look exactly like everyone else so I could laugh about their lack of imagination :p Designing one is alot more fun that wearing one.
Saying unique limit the game is completely flawed... it actually increases the build variety (*If the unique is not a dumb unique, unique items are meant to be unique in what they give, and with that i mean special mod that no other items can have which enables builds arround it)
If it was only a game with rare items... everybody would be clones ... max es-life-res armors... wow thats not limited
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it
