More 1.0.0 Information
I like the life buff. I've been forced to mostly play an ES build so far. With a ~700 ES chest I have over 5k ES, but with +max life on all of my gear I struggle to get barely over 2k life on my other characters.
I'm so excited for release! I've been getting all of my characters ready. I hope GGG is ready to have their servers crash and burn >:D |

Far shot monsters are great, finally a benefit for melee !
Also shock debuff nerf was needed, was too strong compared to the others imho. Yay at buzzards ! More plumes ! Yay at more map diversity ! A good yay overall ! |

" you are an idiot, if i were GGG i would have never introduced any uniques to the game. The size of the patch is depending on the new content, eg new class, new zones, new maps, redesigned talent tree etc, this is actually a content patch, uniques means nothing. if you are not satisfied by their job, why are you a divine supporter? why do you care about this game anyways? Seems the same sample applies to you aswell $$$>IQ? |

Great changes to shock and life on level, and that far shot thingy will do wonders for melee-ranged balance together with that barrier monsters.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" I don't get your point. Do you actually understand what "game release" means? When a game is finished, they release it. They're not even obligated to add content on release to make it count as one. " What will diminishing return solve? We are not taking all life nodes we can because we are life nodes lovers, but because it's the only way to have suitable amount of HP. It nice to read Chris boasting about this new shiny passives, but realistically my characters will not be able to take them, because I have to have 175-200% life from tree minimum to survive harsher maps. And in new tree, I have to spend more points to get them, because I can't just cross middle of tree... Anticipation slowly dissipates...

" Just few theories to throw in the mix. Vaal Pact in that tree is located where life builds roam. However currently its dangerous to use VP in life builds. Since they are making changes to life, maybe they are changing VP to be more life friendly? Maybe as a shadow you would actually want to go that way to grab VP among other things. But then VP is mostly for crit builds and little or no crit available there. CI+VP in any case seems most viable with scion, shes the new star of the show anyway. In other cases VP will be left unused, since life builds that have access to it, dont want it and CI builds that need it, cant get it. This kinda leaves crit nodes only to totem builds.
