Every build (except a scion) that uses both, CI AND Vaal Pact would be useless with this tree, wouldn't it?? Correct me if I'm wrong please!
BUT Chris already said, that this isn't the final tree :D, so there is still hope :)
Question, does anyone know what the new keystone is by the Body & Soul cluster on the left side? New tree looks interesting and I love making templars, so maybe it's something i could build around.

So its final i cannot have VP as discharger (templar)
that makes any discharger build unplayable late game (constant suicide)
Welcome to the "path of scion"

No, it's NOT final. Nothing on that tree is.
And because it might possibly affect your one specific build, suddenly any other build but scion is impossible? People on here seriously need to stop this kind of thing and learn to actually think instead of the immediate "sky is falling" response to every single change.

Not just discharge most high dps melee CI use Vaal Pact. I know my crit shadow wont survive without it. :( RIP Vaal Pact CI

The thing that strikes me most about the current passive tree you guys released is that each starting point seems to be stuck in it's own little corner, whereas the one we have now obviously allows for easy passing from one side to the other, this looks like it's going to be too mandatory to go Scion if you want to create a build that collects keystones from each part of the tree. For example, it's way way too far for an EB witch to get enough life nodes, the EB node and make the round trip down to the bottom for Manna shield. I mean my summoner witch just makes it sufficiently by going through the middle, but outside I can see being very hard. I just hope you guys take this into consideration, we NEED to be able to dabble into other parts of the tree to make unique builds.
Well i know this is extremely premature to do given it will probably change to some extent but i rebuilt my own ci shadow vaal pact and i only lost like 2-3 points.

if anything i think starting from scion benefits me even more coz u can get those top es nodes + skill radius, bottom are phys nodes on ur way to vaal pact, nothing substantial has changed in my build.

Obviously i have to play scion to make the same thing i loved and perfected for so long but its no biggie, was planning or rerolling a scion anyway.

I bet if u guys take a hard long look at the tree even in this state it shows that u can do vaal pact ci without losing too much.

My 2 cents, vaal pact ci builds got a buff in overall es amount. ( from the looks of the unifinshed tree so far)

The Vaal Pact placement is going to kill a lot builds. Three out of my five builds will be effected.

Just the fact that you have 5 builds made around CI + GR + VP shows how broken that combination is.

First of all, we don't even know for sure that this is what will happen when the game is released, but as of now I'm very happy to see GGG break this "combo" and make you get off your sorry whining asses and theory craft something other than this lame CI+VP thing... Hooray for diversity, even if it's a bunch of Scion walking around! LOL

I'm deligted to hear news about cross-league trading. Hopefully one day it will be completely removed.

Any way great work GGG, thanks

Yes, hopefully you'll also penalize people that do it, not only remove cross trading threads and pretend people won't still do it.

How will cross league trading be stopped?

I like this rule btw.

Will wait on final passive tree before judging. Can't say much of anything about it just yet without values on it.

Even though Chris and others have stated that the final tree might look different than what we see here, and a lot of people seem to be hoping that is true, I on the other hand think that the current tree is pretty much what we will get at the release. Obviously small adjustments will be made, but people should't expect big changes at this point. GGG only has 1 week to go before the game is released, and any significant change to the tree will need time to test it. 1 week is not enough for any major changes.

If anything, major changes to the tree will come after the release as Chris has stated numerous times that 4 months leagues are basically stages for him and the team to experiment and test different things, and they will make changes based on the feedbacks they get.
