So sad to see all the crybabys MOAN about their Auras getting "nerfed"..
I think its one step in the right direction to NOT be able to run trillions of Auras at once, but instaed use maybe 2-3 good ones and relay on your gear/build/skills instaed. Good stuff as always, cant wait for the release next week! :) |

2 handed builds that arent straight heavy strike are not plausible. I tried an AOE glacial hammer build and it was so incredibly desyncy it was literally unplayable.

Everything is awesome...BUT I do not agree with Farming changes: if you want to reach level 100 you HAVE to risk, it can't be only a matter of time..

auras.. - sorry. you took the smallest issue of this game and managed to double it and some more but fanbois are asked to leave now

legacy items - this is nothing other than a chicken move evasion still is viable only at the top end with full investment and even then it relies on luck because.. one-hit gear checks that promote ES builds because you simply can create 5k ES character with shitty gear (my on-budget EK witch) and you can have incredibly hard time to create 4k HP character with serious dedication to life nodes (like 85% of the fucking tree!) with Auras changes the only bonus of life builds (possibility to bloodmagic some + auras) is gone - great job. flat value auras were great just for that. and i havent seen anyone complain.. add 'max number of auras==3' and your entire aura issue is solved. but then how to put oneself into low-life and these shavrones have to keep price dont they.. economy is the most important part of this game isnt it? but wow, you have some new party aura passives? sadly you have like 15 passive points left (as life char) for all your damage and fluffy stuff. you cant see an issue here? issue that is worth tackling before breaking working stuff? after i tried CI for the first time since closed beta there is no fucking way ill play anything else ever again - it is that retarded of a difference. 10 nodes for CI vs 80 nodes as life builds for survivability - no contest. cheap gear. 340ES shield means 1100HP for me. and there are 600ES shields! one shield means more HP than my 81 marauder has .. isnt that a joke? and you decide to tackle auras and cruel quest rewards? yes, that will definitely help a lot. i wont even mention maps and gaining experience beyond 81-82 without a party. and finally - desync? just say 'we have the 'bestest' prediction system in the world and you just cant fathom its brilliance' and it will be all clear. desync is just as bad as it had been 1 year ago and desync deaths made my friends abandon this game and they wont be returning. do you have stats on that? btw new leagues. what is their point? ladder? this is for like 61 no-lifers. they care about position on the ladder. for all other players it is a hunt for new uniques. but with current drop rates you have to trade for them. and it all revolves around trading and economy. call it path of traders and let us all stop pretending. experimentation? you do NO experimentation with leagues. experimentation would be to have a league with 10x drop rate of orbs (like exalted, blessed, divine, ethernal) to see how crafting works when is not gated by ability to trade (scam noobs). experimentation would be to cut life leech by half or to make projectiles NOT hit targets off screen. experimentation would be to make totem-spells drain mana. this is experimentation. shrines + some dmg monster affixes are fluffy stuff that are nothing but boring. youll get lots of players into these leagues by obscuring standard league even more and making them default so lots of noobs will go there. and 4 months is A LOT. d3ex will be there in 4 months probably and they are basically re-doing their game a new and we know blizz learns from their mistakes. you seem to have a problem with that as Kripp have said before open beta started: 'no matter what they'll do the most powerful build will be a totem build possibly spork'. sounds so true after all this time |

for MF they really need to increase base drop rates and decrease IIR effectiveness.
The differences are ridiculous. my MF sproker? 1-2 inventories of rares per map my cleave duelist with little to no IIR? just ran a map and got 0 yes ZERO RARES, including the boss... |

" Actually, auras will be buffed in parties. Most people just want to have the option to run auras when they are playing solo. It's not about running "trillions" or auras, it's about going from being able to run 3-4 down to 2-3, and having to sacrifice DPS oriented auras (anger, wrath) for defensive ones in solo play (which is what people will have to do). |

I love how GGG said they wanted to make it less necessary to run parties for stuff, and yet by implementing this "aura fix" they added a big incentive to run in parties. GG GGG.
