lol, why not 3000 % and flat 200 ?

Great job!

I would like to see some balancing on solo vs party in the future as well.
The aure change will actually make this worse I think (for the solo player).

I don't know how the change if Quantity towards Rarity in party will affect the solo player. Hopefully not like "you have to play in party to find nice gear"!

Looking forward to play The Game!

Could be really an improvement all these changes. Not sure about the auras, I like my 6 Aura Summoner and you need every "OP" advantage you can get to survive in PoE if you play single player only like me. I still wonder if these balances are still focused more on group play or also pay more attention to sigle player experiences. (Boss runs for instance, it's pure suicide in Merciless and schould be avoided if you play alone imho)

Or.. Here is a more specific question.

Will the changes to bows, make an existing Voltaxic or Lioneye's Glare obsolete?

Probably.

Lioneye's will be stuck with it's fixed +10-20/15-200% or so physical damage mods or whatever it has, while all bows post 1.00 will be able to have stronger mods(probably up to 300% physical and flat damage 40-60 at best rolls).

Now this answer puts things back on shaky ground for existing bows and again makes them 'obsolete'
Regarding running bosses for items...

Are drops for Hillock, Brutus, Siren, Merveil, Weaver, Alira, Kraityn, Oak, Gravicius, Kole, etc., being adjusted/improved as well?

Regarding Aura increased reservation cost and most now being % based...

How will life-based, Blood Magic keystone players use auras?

Also, I think by default we should be capped at 1 aura. And then have passive nodes in the tree that would allow +1 aura. How many of these +1 nodes to have, GGG will have to decide based on aura costs and power. But I would say 3 or 4 auras should be the max. This is an RPG. We should have to choose which auras to use, not be able to use them all at once.

GGG has stated previously that they don't want to make gear obsolete. We don't know what the actual damage modifiers are yet or how common they are. Also, we don't know the base attack speed of bows with these modified physical damage mods.

One of the best balance updates so far!
Awesome changes.
so much passion

Without knowing numbers it's hard to interpret most of these balancing changes.
Qarl's post with "flat mana --> % mana reservation on most auras" was interesting, and imo BM keystone needs a look if that's what we will get. Afaik there are currently only archers who really can play with it in the most difficult content.

Personally I would've prefered a limit to the number of active auras (maybe 3?), this would also free up sockets to increase build variety. Very high reservation costs achieve the same, but with the side effect of reducing mana pools to points were only BM gems/insane regen allow reliable activation of skills. How can I use a 750 mana pot, if I have to micro manage this on 150 (or less) free mana?

People expecting lioneyes glare to get buffed are dreaming.

Its also exceedingly unlikely that thicket/imperial bows will be receiving an implicit mod- reread the relevant section in the OP.
