Seriously though, how the hell are people complaining about MTX users winning? Its a fashion show! Of course the people who look the coolest are going to win! That being said, there's only three of those that look good..the rest are just bleh. Not going to say who, don't want to hurt any feelings, but really??

On the off chance anyone is curious, this is Audemus in action. You'll see what I mentioned earlier about the exalted enchant seeming to be substantially less overpowering than when I'm sitting in town. I can't explain why it behaves that way on the rapier.

The weird aura around it is applied by the act of taking the screenshot, it's not on my screen. If enough people want me to, I'll record him to show you.

I like your exile, I placed you 7th in my personal rank, but 4-7th for me were all very close together. Out of the 7 I listed, I wouldnt mind seeing any of them as a rogue exile in wraeclast, including yours. (not xandro though, dont vote for him)

Just curious, but how is the game pay to win when none of the rewards or things used in the competition directly affect your "winning" in the game? It's purely cosmetic for purely cosmetic rewards. Your accusation makes no sense.

Using a ridiculous amount of MTX effects to boost yourself to the top of the competition ladder thus resulting in a rogue exile being created in your honor is a very pay to win strategy. I mean, look at all the goddamn shiny things that will appear on the new rogue exile - it's simply going to blind people and cause them to die in Hardcore. This means that the contest winner (who is already accustomed to all the shiny things on his screen unlike the rest of us peasants) will move up in the Hardcore ladder without having to anything. Clearly pay to win...or something.

You should stop beeing full of yourself, step back and reflect one second and see that your sarcasm is not funny and only ignorant on what people thinking.

Hi Guys

It would be nice to hear why they choose us 10 from all the others, with a comment to each person.

I never thought to be one of the Top10 because i like many others more than mine.

And it really should have more Rules... Like:

Just screenshots in town. (So no Auras or other Skills)
No screenshot editing.
An additonal screenshot with no MTX on.


But yeah thats just my opinion.

Didn't see a single one without any MTX in top 10. I refuse to vote.
Not saying it is pay to win, but damn, only love for people who can afford to throw money at ya.

I honestly just think it's hilarious people are calling this pay to win. GGG allowed for community input on the next rogue exile, and a huge portion of it backfires because people are spoiled rotten by GGG's usual way of handling things. All of the other rogue exiles use MTX effects, what makes you think the new one wouldn't? Regardless of that fact, the rewards for this contest do not put the winners in any sort of position of power over anyone else in terms of gameplay. Why do you even care who wins the competition unless you're simply upset that it's not you?

As has been stated many times in the past when these types of arguments break out, financial support has nothing to do with the competition. I've put in a pretty hefty load of money myself, and I couldn't even get a simple question about the rules answered much less show up in the top 10. And my Dusty Old Maid entry was pretty fucking awesome if I may say so myself.
