4k is not high hp by any stretch of the imagination.

Mass hp + regen is a viable alternative to armor, and it's meant to be. Regen is basically a replacement for your armor nodes.

A pure hp build should be reaching around 7.5 - 8k hp at level 80 as a marauder, 7 - 7.5k as any other class.

I have some concerns about the lvl 28 arena, i get the feeling it will just become a phase run + flicker strike one hit kill festival and that casters will have no place in it at all.

perhaps im wrong though?

im staring at the lvl 27 unique hammer right now.

so you found Kaom's Heart on nonlegacy?

otherwise your numbers are not even theoretically possible...

and yes, the 27 uniquehammer will be a problem, i hope GGG is aware of the existence of this 200%ipd monster that used to be a levelturbo that normally noone would care about

I have ~7k hp with 500 regen/sec on my level 78 templar. I could get higher hp if i dropped my elemental damage nodes and resist nodes, and even more if i dropped my regen, and even more if i dropped restech.

And more if i had a fecund roll on my helm and boots, missing around 60 base hp there, which equals around 240hp for me. I'm also directly beside quite a few hp nodes, so every level up nets me over 100hp. I plan on getting a kaom's heart when we go into legacy, and it will put me to 11k hp with ridiculous regen, e nough for me to completely ignore the resist nerf. Although with the resist nerf im going to swap haste out with purity.

They are giving to you, If you still wanna play those characters they are still available. And regardless of how you feel you understood that at least one wipe would be made. Consul yourself in knowing that you were able to play a truly great game before the general populace, and that you helped make it even better for them. It is a badge of honor to be a beta tester, lets agree to not be-smudge it.

i think you are very deep in the mara-tree (30%critdmg reduce)
how can a mara reach 8k like you said?
i mean there are 1160 missing... thats maybe +70% or 65% increasedlife i guess?.. so about 8-9 extra nodes?
really possible?

Well first of all, i spent 3 points on point blank, which is around 450hp right there. I'm missing 250 from gear, so that brings it to 700, mara is 3 points more efficient than templar so thats 1150hp, and level 80 is another 2 points, bringing it to an extra 1450hp, totalling 8.3k. Approximately 12.4k with kaom's heart.

I plan on buying a kaom's heart when i switch to legacy, so i shoudl be able to get some pretty obscene numbers.
