doesn't really matter what atributes you'll need, everyone will be able to use lvl 1 trap.
though i just imagine it, you desync to a bunch of mobs you don't see, use the skill to go to safety but get desynced there aswell to a bunch of mobs you don't see. IGN: FoughtBledAndWeptForGod, WoE_HitoZ

This seems like it'd be a very good defensive skill against something like vaal smash, from the video the damage over time from the fire ground stopped almost instantly after the teleport.

I wasn't sure if the 'teleport' was desync or the Smoke Mine functionality. :x
Now I know. Looks like a pretty cool safety skill. Can you 'teleport' to the Smoke Mine while your character is frozen? What kind of damage does the smoke deal? TY to those who called me out on my BS on these forums. There is no benefit to being so selfish as to fail to acknowledge others' differing beliefs of what "should be" or believe your own opinions so supreme as to be factual and thus dismiss others' opinions as being somehow a lie or delusional. (mines were layed at your feet) - I'd call a "throwable" mine as a trap ^^ And I guess, you cant throw it further away than one screen - its not possible to click outside your viewing range.
