2 charges per 3 mobs is 66 per 100... I think you're counting wrong. :p

It is rounded up, so with 34 you get 2 charges when 3 mobs are there (34*3/100 = 1.02), with 51 you'd get 2 charges if 2 are there (51*2/100=1.02), and with 101 you'd be getting 2 if 1 is there (101*1/100=1.01)

The balance changes related to cooldowns have been made as the first steps towards the PvP balance we're working on for 1.0.0 as well as upcoming new Trap skills for 0.11.6. Please note that the below patch notes could change by the time the patch is ready.


Do you also realise you can improve traps via the Passive Tree, so that you can:

- increase the number of traps from 3 to 4
- increase the laying speed
- increase the trap trigger radius
- increase the trap duration

Perhaps wait until after the next 0.11.6 patch, and further patch changes, to see the full impact. :D

I already invested in every node thus far to help my trap laying speed, trap damage / elemental damage via fire damage, etc.

I am already seeing the impact the current patch is having on my build. It is not very good.

P.S. As far as the node that lets you use 1 more trap, it is too out of the way for my path on the Skill Tree.

My criticism for the Patch Notes regarding traps is to allow 1 more trap use by default to be used without having to rely on the wasteful Skill Tree trap node for that extra use.
When game developers ignore the criticism that would improve their game, the game fails.
Just because a game receives a great amount of praise vs. only a small amount of criticism
does not mean to call it a day and make a foolish misplaced assumption that it is perfect.

We're building a fix for the microtransaction stash crash now.
My character is now completly screwed up, I used 5 bear traps that I paid 1ex each, All the gems I had. I had 15 bear traps. Now I can only throw 3 at the same time and with much less damage. This is too much for me, How can I repair this shit!!! I just used regrets for increase spell damage in passive because it is not applied to Bear Trap even if in the description it says Spell and now my 15 4linked traps are useless, I have no other weapons, all my skill tree is screwed. I want a refund and scrap my account and my 36 stash full of wems, items. I am done, this patch killed my 400 hours caracter, beyound repair.
