"Empower" means something...
Maybe +1 (or +2 or something) level of linked gems? http://slysherz.blogspot.com

"That makes sense, since there are also two chromatics in the picture. But it still might have a stat requirement - depending on color - at higher levels. Or perhaps you can only change the color while it is still level 1. Running heists fully zoomed in... because

Wild speculation, but here goes.
It obviously empowers some other gems, either the other support gems or the main skillgem, but since you cant see what it does, I speculate that the result has some sort of randomization involved. Even though I write this I doubt it myself, since all other gems are static (not considering quality). |

Empower. The word means to add power to, but to what is the question. Hmmm, Curse on hit would most likely be named that. +x to gem level is possible. Adding a flat % more damage. It may even add something different depending on the gem for all we know. Empowered RF vs cyclone. Who knows.

Aww, at first sight I thought I can get 75% more XP with this gem, PoE really needs some XP gain gems imho, have not much time to grind and level. :D

Gems could probably have their total exp set to the empower gem's exp while linked. So a lvl 1 spark gem linked with an empower gem that has 200m exp would work like a lvl 18 spark gem.

imo it adds quality to what ever gem its attached to so at lvl 1 15%

i will call. +1 to gems
and raise, a recipe LV20 gem + LV1/2 emp = LV21/25 gem. |

" Interesting. I'm thinking it's a 5 level gem. At different levels you gain + to a linked gem (up to +2) level and at other 2 levels + to damage. The thing that makes it special is you can change color and depending on color is what tells it what to enhance. i.e. red enhances strength gems and physical damage, blue spell damage and in gems. etc. That's my guess.
