This isn't going to be a good bow to use with LA. Actually do the math and think about it in comparison to a regular thicket with phys and a normal lightning roll. The damage would be terrible.

I agree with this - Voltaxic is gonna work with LA, but you can get better rare bows for that purpose no questions asked. Its not "oh you haven't tried it, how can you tell?" - its actually simple logic.

These are the 2 obvious reasons I would not use this bow with LA, a physical/lightning thicket with high aps would simply perform better with that skill - actually I don´t think I would use the skill with anything. I hate it :D

Now - take a look at elemental hit and say that is not interesting with gems: Cold to fire+Weeapon elemental damage.

Not sure how cold to fire works though. If cold is chosen? (1/3 of the hits) Would it do really low damage and just improve fire instead?

Im thinking chaos discharger with high crit and crit multiplier. If your on softcore you can probably add lowlife painattunement and RF to the mix.

Bottom line is the bow has poor attack speed for an end game item, and for the purposes being discussed here a decent ele thicket would do a better job.

I still think it's an interesting item, and as someone else said, I don't think any of us have actually figured out what it's really for yet. It certainly isn't for LA or traditional ele bow builds, but I'm fairly sure it is great for something.

Many people are posting that the bow won't be good for LA and all this other stuff but I can say as one of two people that have actively played in high level maps with the bow (75+) that it is insane. LA on the bow is INSANE. Lioneyes with my current build wouldn't let me run WED on it because I would instantly die to reflect with a chain lmp dps of 9k+.


Edit : Bow sucks if you have one on SC KayeOsse is wtb.
