" If I would spend 3-6 exalts for better sword I would could drop 1-2 auras, with the same result. But I prefer to save those exalts for Soul Taker and now, it will be even more crucial to get this axe... So it is quite fun to read almost 50 pages of whining about OP and BIS uniques and almost nobody noticed, that this is non intentionally solid buff to one of them (or maybe intentionally ;)). Now every 1H life build will be craving this axe even more, to cover loss of auras... :D " Stupidity of such statements is purely astonishing... Anticipation slowly dissipates... " Nope, u don't have auras on covenant, its same as switching rings or ammys. Making these chances doesnt effect scrubs like you farming normal ledge but for real players its game breaking. Changing how covenant works is game breaking for every life build playing endgame content (not talking about scrubs at 66maps) IGN = DeizeCoC, DeizeCi, DeizeNUTS

" " Well look at that. Even giant nerds who hardly see the light of day can be wrong. Who would have thought. Real players = Don't need lame exploits BTW Your assumptions are hiliarous. Standard Forever Last edited by iamstryker#5952 on Aug 14, 2013, 5:41:28 AM

" Encouraging grouping by making it more profitable is pure stupidity. |

" Using Covenant or Simula to get Blood Magic is not an exploit, it's a smart way of using game mechanics. Blood Magic is an ability that allows you to use life instead of mana for casting skills and auras. When you have one of those items equipped, you have Blood Magic. It doesn'e matter that you lose Blood Magic later. You had it at the time you cast the aura. It's perfectly logical. Imagine you are a shaman who puts on a powerful artifact that allows him to spend his life energies to cast spells instead of his mental strength. You are physically drained after doing it. You put off the artifact and cast other spells in the "normal" way. There is nothing to "fix" here. Last edited by Endrju82#2201 on Aug 14, 2013, 8:51:53 AM

You shouldnt get bonuses from something not equipped.

" If this was considered an Exploit, it should have been fixed a long time ago. I was under the impression it was intended and that is the only reason such items had some value. Now, they are just another set of uniques you can vendor for alchemy shards (at best). Had I known this was not intended, I wouldn't have made two of my 85+ chars build require the use of these items. I have a 2H Marauder that reserves all mana (only achievable by using Alpha Howl) and then replacing with Bringer of rain with blood magic gem. Now, that build is destroyed. My ranger is a dagger crit ranger that not only uses Alpha to reduce mana reserve and then swap to bringer of rain, but also uses Prism Guardian to get Andger Wrath and Grace then swap shield. I want to see you try play end-game as Melee without Purity and Determination... especially as a Ranger that cannot get Elemental Adaptation. Two of my 3 end-game characters are now destroyed... I feel a passive reset, at least, is deserving after having allowed Alpha/Malachai/Covenant to work like they have for so long. This is the FIRST TIME I play a game where something considered an "exploit" doesnt get fixed right away. Yeah... keep on rolling microtransactions, you sure got time for them, but not to fix "exploits" IGN: LessBow Last edited by Schn1tt3r#5216 on Aug 14, 2013, 9:47:06 AM

" You are not getting any bonuses from Covenant and Simula if you don't have them equipped. |
