Some 0.11.4 Changes
Icons for buffs, debuffs, other (charges/skill counters/grace period), flask effects and minions now have distinct borders so that they can be easily distinguished at a glance. Cool. Still waiting to see mini aura icons appearing above mobs' hp...
Inner force is being buffed because flask effects are no longer buffs. Love it. I like very much Inner Force and never liked flask effects anyway... New Skill: Reave. The star of the new patch :) League banners are now correct on social screens. :D We've fixed a large quantity of stability issues and long-standing bugs. Very apreciated. New Plate Vest art. Beautifuly made btw. Five new unique items. The axes and...? *Curiosity* 3D art for quivers. A high improvement for archers. Our art is now 10% smaller on disk, which reduces loading times, memory requirements and associated stability issues. The patch is a large download because of having to redownload this smaller art. THIS is my favorite one right now. Vaal Fallen now wear appropriate late Atziri period Vaal armour. I like their current armor and animation. What will happen to them now? The Vaal Ruins now have torches which light up as you approach them. Super-cool. The Weaver Fight has been revamped. It's significantly more challenging at higher difficulties. We also now have spiders dropping from the ceiling as they climb down webs. Very nice. I love spiders. Critters. Good for the areas' atmosphere. Fixed an abuse case where auras would maintain bonuses from equipment if you changed out of that equipment in town. Upon changing area, auras will set themselves to the current level from your equipment. Other similar abuse cases will be fixed in the future. Very good. Anything that surpasses the game's mechanics shoudn't exist. Just to reiterate, these aren't the complete patch notes :). o/ |

Its allways so funny to see these random noobs with max lvl 60 characters and gear worth 10chaos talking about game here. This change to alphas howl ain't that bad but if GGG will change how covenant works also I will regret ever supporting GGG. That would make build diversity to zero (CI/Shavronnes would be only viable build) and all the life based builds can start buying 100 regrets (<- maybe 20regrets for all those random lvl 30-60 noobs here)
And WTF are you making some lvl 1 Chest a new 3D model again? God feels like GGG just gets worse and worse. IGN = DeizeCoC, DeizeCi, DeizeNUTS

" Its a beta, we all have to get over the changes that take place. I didn't put that chest into the game just like I didn't put kaoms heart and soul taker into the game. The ridiculous price of Shavronnes reflects how silly it is to have such an item in the game. " These games will always have expensive items that not everyone can get, but rare builds? Seriously? Your justification is for people who play the game so much already to have something to work towards? people who play the game that much will always get burnt out and run out of things to do, I don't see that as an excuse to lock out builds or leave imbalanced builds in the game that only people who play 20 hours a day can get. Again, its inconsistent to the game. Every other actual "build" can be made much earlier in the game. " Without Shavronnes was LL pointless? No, it just required more work and that made more sense. Now its an overblown fad. LL doesn't have to have less damage, it just needs to be a bit riskier unlike how its used right now. " Its obviously still a beta or crap like soul taker and shavronnes would never have been put in the game. Mistakes are still getting fixed like Alphas Howl just was. Deal with the changes like your supposed to. Standard Forever

Jesus, the wait for this patch is unbearable!!
Seems like there are very exciting things to come, thanks for not letting us down GGG! |

alrite, rip alphas. If you want us to use cool designed uniques, why not simply put life on them? There's like 2-3 uniques with life. I don't understand.
^for the guy above me - "its still beta" imo this is just a crappy excuse. Last edited by Gahvriel#4572 on Aug 14, 2013, 12:05:38 AM

" Thanks for this shit, Chris, thx a lot. You are not honest with your players. You add new microtransactions and uniques items regularly, you want ppl to stay in game, you want more donations, ok. But you dont want to fix bugs? Can you explain why? We should wait patch to see the changes. But it is so stupid way to make changes. You should fix all abuses with auras at once or do nothing. You should add list of abuses to the launcher to let all ppl to know about it. Most experience ppl which can grind gear on high lvl maps are grinding gear more effectively than others, they have enough currency to buy some items and they all know about abuses. But what about new players? You dont care? Now i see some ppl are spaming chat all day trying to buy 2 or 1 uniques, then they are trying to sell it, great gob GGG. " The reason why those bugs haven't been fixed is because they're very hard to fix. In some cases they take weeks of work to change. We have been working on fixing them all year and are deploying the fixes as soon as they are ready.
" Thanks for your answer. You are trying to fix this bugs,ok. But you added new unique Malachai's Simula in 0.11.1. I use this item to switch grace. Is this abuse or not? :D If it is abuse i dont understand why you are still adding such items in game. |
|
" i may be reading this wrong, but doesn't this just mean that people gotta bring their alpha's howl / malachai's in their inventory at all times and do a gear swap / cast aura everytime they enter a new area? i don't like the fact that BM gear are currently abusable this way. however, BM auras are one of the advantages that life builds have over CI builds in the game. i would suggest that in removing this abuse, perhaps devs could think about reducing the mana cost of BM gem for auras. the current 200+% mana multiplier on BM auras is really quite a lot...
" dude. it was added 0.9.5. 0.11.1 only changed the base item when GGG added in all those beautiful new base helmet names / art. |
