The important thing is please, please, please! Deploy the web-view passive skill tree a day early so we can preplan our rebuilt characters, and jump right into the game after the patch goes live!!!

Totally agree :D

It doesn't work this way, unfortunately. The game and the web site passive skill planner run from the same data. When we deploy the new patch, both update to the new tree.

In the future we may look into supporting a current tree and a future tree, but that's extra work that would just delay important stuff!

Totally understandable ^-^ thank you for the reply, at least now I know what to expect.

Are we going to be seeing floating combat text and friendly/enemy nameplates soon?

I am really interested in these features in the UI section of the options tab. I would enjoy seeing red boxes over enemy npc's so I can shoot at them and see them hiding under trees or other environmental things.

Also who doesn't want to see how much "actual" damage they are doing. I love numbers and I think a lot of people do to.

-Thanks
I hope my first unique makes it in to this patch

I have a question - why life regeneration passives will be decreased??I find them working nice as they are now.

The quest in the Chamber of Sins now involves rescuing Helena, a new NPC.

I know, you said we shouldn't cry about nerfs before we've seen 'em...

... but, a Damsel in Distress quest?

You did quite a good job with women in the game, just a tiny bit dissapointed 'bout that. :/

If it makes you feel any better the original quest lore involved a guy going down there and never being seen again. I think the woman came out ahead here!
They said I was mad! They said it couldn't be done! But now who's mad?!?!
GGG has said somewhere else that version 0.10.0 is OB.

To whomever asked about making items on the ground unclickable: there's an option for that in the options menu, UI tab: "Key Pickup"

I am super excited by the changes in this patch, and while nervous about the life regen reduction, I am going to reserve judgment (as requested) until after playing with it.

Edit:

Oh yeah, how do you know a quest involving a female NPC is a damsel in distress quest? Sounds like somebody's jumping to conclusions. Maybe valid, maybe not, but let's not condemn GGG for something until after seeing what it actually is.

Three things to toss around the GGG round table:

1. There should be an option in the hot keys for the left mouse button to just move instead of default attack. Very frustrating as a freezing pulser to have your wand fire instead of moving to the target.

2. When you click the key "Z" to remove all item highlights, maybe the items on the ground should not be clickable.

3. This one is a doozy... an item filter. Like the "Z" key to toggle all highlighted items, there should be a filter key. The Item Filter would obviously need it's own menu. Options should be something like:

> Weapons: 1h weapons, 1h mace, 1h sword, 1h axe, 2h weapons, etc.
> Armor: ES, ES/EVA, ES/ARM, EVA, EVA/ARM, ARM.
> Item Sockets: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
> Socket Links: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
> Jewelry: Rings, Necklaces, Belts.
> Gems: STR, DEX, INT, Portal.
> Scrolls: Wisdom, Portal.
> Flasks: Diamond, Granite, Sapphire, Ruby, Topaz, Mana, Life.
> General Items: Whetstones, Armor Scraps, Glassblowers.

Each category (example: weapons) would have multiple clickable options meaning you can have 0 checked or you can have some checked, or all of them checked. I guess the pre-set should be everything checked.

Thanks for your time.
