0.9.12 Information and Incomplete Patch Notes (Updated)

yeah, I'd like to see some way of telling item level that's a bit easier than picking the item up and typing /itemlevel
What is item level changing ? why is it important to know item lvl?

Is power of mods added by currency somehow dependant on item lvl, or rather item lvl is just summarized evaluation of all mods and stats?
I have runes, potions and total disregard of public safety.

item level determains the level of the mods it can get, a ring with an item level 68 can get much better mods than a ring with an item level 5, so it helps to see what one wants to keep/toss out or to use orbs on to get something good.

Three things to toss around the GGG round table:

1. There should be an option in the hot keys for the left mouse button to just move instead of default attack. Very frustrating as a freezing pulser to have your wand fire instead of moving to the target.

2. When you click the key "Z" to remove all item highlights, maybe the items on the ground should not be clickable.

3. This one is a doozy... an item filter. Like the "Z" key to toggle all highlighted items, there should be a filter key. The Item Filter would obviously need it's own menu. Options should be something like:

> Weapons: 1h weapons, 1h mace, 1h sword, 1h axe, 2h weapons, etc.
> Armor: ES, ES/EVA, ES/ARM, EVA, EVA/ARM, ARM.
> Item Sockets: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
> Socket Links: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
> Jewelry: Rings, Necklaces, Belts.
> Gems: STR, DEX, INT, Portal.
> Scrolls: Wisdom, Portal.
> Flasks: Diamond, Granite, Sapphire, Ruby, Topaz, Mana, Life.
> General Items: Whetstones, Armor Scraps, Glassblowers.

Each category (example: weapons) would have multiple clickable options meaning you can have 0 checked or you can have some checked, or all of them checked. I guess the pre-set should be everything checked.

I have read through most of the posts and have not seen an answer regarding this change. Can you please explain to us how having IR will affect the 3 nodes "Leather and Steel" (15% bonus to evasion and armor) and "Evasion and Armor" (8% bonus to evasion and armor).

Will taking these talent points only receive the bonus to the evasion part and then translate into armor with no +armor benefit from the passive or something else?

I only ask because once talent points are being reset I don't want to waste point into something that no longer has the same benefits.

When you get Iron Reflexes all armor and evasion increases add together when applied to evasion equipment.
If you take Leather and Steel, you get +24% evasion and +24% armor. If you wear an item with 100 evasion, you'll recieve 100*(1+.24+.24) = 148 armor.


that wont work any more. with this patch "Leather and Steel" will only give u the armor% if have "Iorn Reflexes" you will not get both anymore with taking IR (so only 24% armor will add not the 24% evasion too.) ,if you dont have IR then you will still get armor% and evasion%.

not open beta, just a patch open beta will be some time later after patch 9.13 is what had said before, however it with pvp coming at 9.13 now, open beta may be pushed back just a bit after that.
