I've been checking this thread and the one before it for too long now waiting for a unique that actually impresses me like some of them used to.

Maybe it's because I have several characters that can/do farm level 70+ maps, but the passed 30 uniques have all be shit.



Furthermore, I don't understand some of you people that desire low level uniques. The chances of you actually acquiring one on a brand new league/race are abysmal. If you have a high level character and you want to make an alt, you can use a rare weapon from a map with the right rolls to go from level 1 to 50 in literally a single play session. I know it was fun playing warsong gulch with your level 19 twinks, but give me a break.



I'm not even asking for end game Unique's here. I'm of the camp that thinks rare drops with godly rolls should always trump uniques except for build enablers. Instead I want to see an environment where uniques are actually viable to use from level 50 to the starter maps.

These 20-50 uniques are utterly useless clutter that serve a portion of the game that should be played through in a single night if not a weekend. If you're going to design one, do one that enables the dozen or so builds that are sorely gimped at the moment.
