Magma Spray blue gem sprays magma damaging enemies it hits and burning the ground around them
lava is such an under appreciated source of fire dmg. that one would be dope with a channel thing goin on so you could make fire circles around yourself too or even a flaming smiley just for kicks Last edited by MrInternational#2844 on Aug 21, 2012, 7:30:03 PM

Increased Map quantity: increases the chance of a map dropping
Increased map Rarity: Increases the chance of higher level maps dropping |
|
Magma cannon: Fires a large fast fireball that hits one target and hits everything in a small arc behind the target for extra fire damage.
levelup increases damage. quality up increases proj speed and arc length. |

There need to be some bow skills that aren't so fantastic or magical in nature. Puncture is pretty much the only one there is, although you could make non-magical explanations for burning, exploding, and poison arrows I guess. They also need more arrow single target skills, so these could fill in.
Precise Shot: A single target arrow skill that has a greatly lowered attack speed, but does increased damage and has a much higher chance of doing a critical hit. Crippling Shot: A single target arrow shot to the enemy's leg (yes, including the knee) that doesn't do much more damage than normal, but slows the enemy. This could serve as a replacement for the currently mandatory temporal chains, especially when you're too low level for that curse. Twin Arrow: Fires two arrows at once at the same target, not at different ones like split arrow, but the shot takes a huge accuracy penalty, giving all those huge bow accuracy passive skills a use. It might also take a critical hit penalty. Possibly instead of getting more damage on leveling up, Twin Arrow gets more arrows at certain levels (although it couldn't be called twin arrow then). Draw Down: A “charge up” bow shot that gets more damage, accuracy, and critical hit chance the longer you hold the button down before releasing it. Piercing Shot: The equivalent of the pierce gem the way split arrow is for multi projectiles. Shoots an arrow with a perfect chance to pierce for necromancer or totem killing. Blunt Arrow: A single target shot with reduced damage, but increased chance to stun and knock back. Heart Pierce: A single target shot that kills non-magic/rare/boss enemies instantly, either with a percent chance to do this, or on critical hits. And of course, they need the very much magical: Frost Arrow: A single target arrow shot that's a counterpart to burning arrow. It's cheap, does less added damage than burning arrow does (maybe flat ice damage to make it different from burning arrow and hatred), but has a large increase in chill duration (and large chance to chill if ice damage doesn't do that automatically...strangely I don't even know if it does) and a much smaller increase to freeze duration. This would probably obviate the need for crippling shot. Of course there are a million other skills they could add, but since this post is too long already I'll stop with single target arrow skills. |
