Interesting info in 1st post.
If the numbers are just right, and we estimate that player slays around 1800 monster per hour online (it's 1 monster per 2 seconds, also 1 hour online not 1 hour looting) we got that you need to kill around 26 milions of monsters on average to get a mirror.
So the estimated chance would be around 0,000004% per mob.

Sounds about right. I'll never find one, meanwhile the guy I play with found one on his first character in Act 3 normal.

same exact thing. i met a guy who found one on his first character, farming ledge in merciless. he didn't even know what he had, he had never even had an exalted. he STILL hasn't ever had an exalted. he's just sitting on his mirror, waiting for the right time to trade it for some ungodly amount of loot.

OP is correct in his estimation, during whole of closed beta, population fluctuated from 30-200, maybe 300 tops
