" Ok, what I'm talking about is like nerf ES pool but ~5%(instead of ~10%) and leech on ES by ~10% OR make ghost reaver costier to get, right now everyone with CI just want to spend those 4 points to get Leech on top of ES's pool. if you still get 1 shot now with vaal paact + reflect, what would HP users say? do I really have to get kaoms to get to ES pool lvls? also I wont be able to use pots. as a side note it would be nice to buff ES recovery nodes to make it actually more viable for new builds that can use this to recover their ES instead. " Comparing 400 Accuracy rating you can get from a single ring to 40% physical damage and 40% ES. They sure are equal. |

Nice little CI nerf, i like it (ofc, as inferiour life user).
What i dont look forward to is: " Dont get me wrong, it is really a little strange to hit enemys behind walls, but this happens only rarely. Nevertheless its exploitable, and therefore should be fixed. But melee splash is already a pretty unpredictable spell (i never get it which enemys getting hit and which dont - seems random, probably a desync issue). Anyway, now stuff like trees or lamps block the area of melee splash, its bad. It will become unusable, if line-of-sight is broken by trash/rocks/shrines/whatever or even some void (lunaris for example). We'll see. |

To GGG:
Nerf and nerf and again lets nerf some more :) Really guys this is getting out of hand. To the players: Stop saying it is something small..... let me give you an example -> Two patches ago I had 30k armor after last nerf I lost 5.5 k :) Now I will lose 2-3K because of the IR. So please scale out when you calculate. |

Evasion after patch will be perfectly fine, in fact it will be better than armour (way better) in most cases. You have to be dumb to not understand the different type of defences in the game and that each one works against something. You are not supposed to stack evasion and survive everything, HP still is king because high spike damage in (real) endgame (high level difficult maps).
First: do you realize evasion is deterministic in this game? It's not like dodge or block which are random. Second: Evasion was immensely buffed and made HC-viable when you could evade charges (rhoas, shield charge). Third: With this patch it will be made viable endgame (if GGG has made their work well), which was the main issue. Pro's of evasion vs. armour: It works against ANY sort of attack (attack != spell), including elemental attacks (armour does not). Elemental attacks are one of the biggest dangers later on, not PHYSICAL attacks. Physical attacks can be made trivial via a lot of things (specially OP: stacking endurance charges + Immortal Call + increased duration, never worry about physical damage, ever), that was never a problem for a non-clueless player (specially melee). If coupled with Blind & Dodge/Block mechanics, the chance of ever getting hit is ridiculously low (makes a lot of boss encounters trivial too), almost to the level of running around with Immortal Call up all the time (not having to care about charges). Sure you still will need HP pool, but that's intended because you need to stack several forms of defences in this game to survive. It's more useful than armour when it comes to desync, which is also pretty much the n.1 melee killer in endgame. When you do not see client-side what is currently happening server-side not being hit is best than any sort of defence. " This line basically says all you need to know why ES still is superior to Life endgame. You will be able to do more maps with higher quantity later on, getting more high level map drops & better loot overall. All while having easier time (less risky) and having higher chance to level up faster (doing higher content). ES >>> Life when decent gear at higher levels. No one cares if ES / Life is balanced when you are lvl 50 or even 70 (not saying it shouldn't be balanced, but saying is way less important). It matters to be balanced when you will be spending most of your gaming time and having higher risks. |

" Since you really are talking about Standard League experience theres no point in arguing with you. Besides, what youre asking for is that Life based characters should get life regeneration and life leech practically for free while ES users should pay a lot for both of them, which they already are doing since they have to invest a ton of points to get decent regen if they run Zealots Oath AND have to invest points to get get Ghost Reaver. Sure lifebased characters are prone to reflect but thats because most of them use retarded skills that obviously will kill you. Multistrike LS for example. Who the hell would play that when they dont pay attention to Thorns? Life based builds are supposed to be able to mitigate physical damage reflect while ES based characters would one shot themselves on those with EK. You choosing to pick up elemental damage even though your life pool is small and mindlessly attacking reflect mobs is your own fault, not the games. Its like and ES character with 30% ohys resistance choosing to cast EK on a reflect pack. |

" Thats the most fail argument ever, like ever. Because 400 accuracy when multiplied doesnt easily become 1k+, which is already half of what you need at endgame for no RT, and what ring gives you 40% physical or 40% ES??? (200 str / int) ... FAIL Just using strawman arguments because your ego is too huge to admit I 1000-0'd you in the most logical of fashions. (As expected)
They can always make a loser league where Monsters do no damage and you one shot everything. Goodness, people, just don't play in the hard parts of the game if you cant handle them.
