[1.0.0] Dodge/evasion Lightning Arrow Frenzy Ranger with video by boxsalesman, UPDATED FOR RELEASE

U can stil use Frenzy in 4L Thunderfists.. but obviously a 6l Lioneyes is a must for LA ( Atleast for more Dps ).

So this used to be my main char since I am not rich or anything and it still was viable.
Now that I almost HAVE to have 6L and Lioneyes, thats probably goodbye to my highest and most played char, since I dont have any currency to buy that stuff.
I dislike playing with mana and I hate to rely on evasion, hence why I chose bloodmagic and Iron Reflexes.
Is there any chance this build could work as before? If not I kinda don't see a reason to reroll a new char, way too disappointed in this.

What's your opinion on Alpha's Howl now? Personally I think that % based aura's pretty much destroyed the item.

I'm going to assume that bloodray vector boots are actually these. Worth about 1 or 2 chaos so not that bad:


I've modified my characters build to follow the new updated build. So far, I lost about 100 DPS on lightning arrow, not the end of the world. I've gained a whole lot of life (no koams), and my frenzy DPS went through the roof (now doing around 6k with 7 charges.

I think if I didn't have this then this char would not be usable:



Still haven't figure out how to get my curse castable. I guess I could run it off blood magic as well. And bear trap is basically useless now so I might look into putting a trigger setup as the OP mentioned.

updated to include trigger gems, I tested a 4L cast when damage taken and it's AMAZING , you almost constantly have 4 endurance charges up , molten shell up for a free 1000 armour, and skeletons. It casts them without cast time and without costing any mana, it really makes up for the fact that the build got nerfed in general !

KEEP THE CAST WHEN DAMAGE TAKEN GEM AT LVL 1 though ! do NOT level it as it will get weaker on each level up.

i like your build, but isnt it better to get prowess(30str) at ranger starting tree instead of 10dex, also you forgot heart of oak in ranger starting tree.
