Yeah , the current lioneye's spec is a bit too high level to my liking , nobody really reaches that level. But after the changes we won't be able to just cut through the middle now like the spec does, so it'll be a lower level version. But I can't be sure until I see the total tree though. It might even be that ele bows become very weak and it's better to have a physical bow. There's a lot of things changing.

It seems iron grip will be on the route from ranger to marauder ( looking at the new build of the week video )

This might be very good for our build !

Life and resists is your first priority when getting gear , you seem to have almost no life on your gear , which is the reason you keep dying.

I started to play again (since February I don't play) and I love this playstyle.
Do you have any general tips for a newbie like me who start the Ranger class? I played with a Marauder months ago.

Edit: I just thought about a little bit different style for this build and I wanted to know if this would work or would cost me too much life?
I loved playing casting curses and some auras so here we go:

4L: purity, vitality, haste, reduced mana.
4L: elemental weakness, enfeeble, conductivity, faster casting.
4L: grace, wrath, anger, reduced mana
6L: frenzy, faster attacks, added lightning dmg, life leech, weapon elemental dmg, added fire dmg
6L: lightning arrow, weapon elemental dmg, life gain on hit, lmp, lightning penetration, chain

I know it would be very difficult to get the x2 6L and x3 4L but I just want to know if I could do it working fine.
Would this work? If not I could remove the extra auras from the first 4L (purity, etc.) and put there the bear traps like you do.

PD: I'm newbie so sorry if this is horrible, hehe.

What are you guys doing for chaos damage in Merciless? Can people link their gear for me? I am coming from a Templar build and this is all new for me. I breezed through the first 2 acts and I am currently grinding ledge to get my toon leveled up a bit. Thanks.
