First of all, thanks for this post. It's a great, fun build.

My question is if I can only summon two specters....should I summon two BR's or should I summon 1 BR and 1 support specter?

Edit: Have you worked around with animated guardian? I like the extra minion

Whoa. I remember trying out rejuv totem pre 1.0, and being extremely frustrated with its range. I may have to give it another go if this is true.

Edit: Range is still pretty bad.......but now, I dont know where to fit it in on my skills, and what to do about skeleton totem, since I tend to use that in messy situations to mitigate damage from zombies.

The way that minions currently work, the stats you summon your minions with will remain. That minion is not dynamic its static. It doesn't update because it was fixed at 'creation'. The only thing that is dynamic is when you manipulate minion number count. If you un-equip your ullr you will lose 1 spectre and 1 zombie(the current ones will die)


so if i use midnight bargain to summon them and then unequip it they all keep the bonus and i just lose the extra skelli, zomb and spec?

Hi minion master pro people!

I have a question about weapon swapping:

Let's suppose I had a Chober Chaber and a Queen's Decree - could I have one of them in my secondary weapon slot (the Queen's Decree) to benefit from the weapon's bonus to minions? (Minions have (10 to 15)% increased maximum Life, Minions deal (10 to 15)% increased Damage, +1 to Maximum number of Zombies, +1 to Maximimum number of Spectres, +2 to Maximum number of Skeletons, (150 to 200)% increased Skeleton Duration)?

Could I say, have my one linked set (for example - RZ + Multistrike + whatever) on the Chober, cast the zombies, switch to the Queen's (which might have RS + Increased Fire Damage) and cast that WITHOUT losing the zoombies?

Would appreciate any clarity on the matter :D

[I am asking in advance, my Summoner is currently level 7 or something, and I don't want to invest in anything that I won't be able to use optimally - thanks :) ]

queens decree is a two hand sword, so no offhand there.

You could dual wield two midnight bargains though.

I would imagine they will fix this exploit at some point, probably by changing equips in town = dead minions, or removing any gem in the chain = dead minions.

until then montreguls should remain a popular item, although I don't see it being useful when you're actually kept to the 50% zombie total. maybe if your doing proliferate + added fire damage it would still be useful.

If they "fix" it without adding some sort of real endgame scaling for minions, they will essentially block summoners from end game content. I'm sure devs know that.

And no, once you change weapons (with minion gem slotten in one) they will die unless you have "same" miniuon gem slotten in same slot in the other weapon as well., plus you won't receave the healh bonus from chober.

Hey i just found an quality animate guardian on my nemesis summoner and wonder if its something that can be useful to use? ( i have actually never tried the new animate gems to be honest :s don´t even know what they do other than its some kind of.. pet? )

I use item swap to give my spectres/zombies more survability, and I hate to do it btw
I would not do that if GGG could allow spectres to be recast without a penalty (just like any other active skill in this game!!)
