It can with some adjustments. Its my goal to try and kill every boss with the build i'll prob tweak when i get there.

Edit: There are some great boss focused spectre builds out there on the witch forums. You can head over there and see what they are doing.

Yes that extra spectre and the additional 20% minion damage will beat out a 6L.

Its situational but if your shield charging through without cursing fire pen is superior if your lowering their resistances with a spell and curses then elemental focus or controlled destruction will be better.

Build update:

- Changed links for spectre. BBBBGG should fit most projectile spell spectres
- Gave up on using frost sentinels (due to how hard they are to desecrate)
- Added an MF guide section

Personal opinion. They are too slow for me but are perfect for SRS builds. Little investment for good damage.

Could you explain why you swap GMP for Pierce rather than something else? I understand not using fire pen, cause different color. But isn't Slower Projectiles way more dmg? Unless the actual "pierce" component does something I'm unaware of?

Your absolutely right slower projectiles does way more damage.

A bit of a side note but I don't like how slower projectiles makes the impact speed a lot slower. You need to convocate right into the boss's face and if they are mobile the projectiles will miss. You can snipe bosses from 1 and a half screen away with faster proj.

One of the things that is important to me at least is the feel of the build not just the raw sheet damage. I like that machine gun firing look =D. Once I start tackling harder content I will switch links. To this:

RS + MinDmg + SpellEcho + Controlled Dest + Elemental Focus + GMP/Slower proj swap

I'll take a second look at the links section. You can swap out both faster proj and gmp for pierce/slower proj

edit: Now that I am thinking about their links again. I wonder if less duration will make their lasers cd shorter? I know they have an internal cd of 8s.
