So for these goatman questions.

The mob you are looking for is literally called Goatman fire-raiser(it will be called that on the corpse). Another indicator is that the corpse will have a little red "horn" like thing on its head that's how you can differentiate them between the normal ones when you are desecrating.

The difference between the regular shaman and the fire-raiser is that these guys also cast magma orb which seems to have an insane flat damage range.

The best places to look is canyon(t6), shaped canyon (t11), and gorge(t13). They will have a 100% spawn rate there and desecrated.

Tentacle miscreation is not a bad spectre but using a staff will take away shield charge and charity shield which will impact clear speed and safety by being mobile.

After trying GFE for a bit, I can say that it beats every single other spectres you can possibly found in this game by a mile in terms of raw damage output esp. in mid range fights (Level 73 Goatman Fire Eater completely outdps my 81 Flame Sentinels in terms of clear, that's insane!). Flame Sentinels are by far more reliable, they spawn almost everywhere with a lunaris/solaris tileset maps. Same case with Merveil's Blessed, the issue comes from Goatman and Sea Witches being a monster variant, instead of a singular mob type like Flame Sentinel. Even in maps like Plateau or Gorge where they have 100% chance to spawn, that 100% chance to spawn is for the mob variant not the Goatman Fire Raiser itself. Most people know this already but for those who don't. Normally, a map can only have two mob type for each mob variant, usually it's one for the melee and one for the ranged variant of them, sometimes it's three types (unless the map has the Increased Monster Variety affix). Problem is, there are five mob types for the Goatman variant, so if you see normal Goatman, and something like Bearded Shaman in the same map, it's not gonna spawn the Fire Raiser no matter how hard you push that Desecrate button.

Also, Faster Projectiles is a must imho for Flame Sents. Normally before I started using FP, I had this small nagging issue of them being 'slow' when it comes to shooting at things right away when I command them, that's probably my only issue with Summoners. FP is close to eliminating that problem, and it boosts the clear speed by quite a lot.

Faster Projectiles is definitely an underrated gem for spectre especially for clear speed.

going to give Cannibal Fire-eaters a try for Guardians and Shaper. They seem to have ridiculous single target damage.
