Path of Exile 0.11.0

Forgot that there was no mention of dexterity and accuracy:|. Still can't come to terms that almost every melee builds needs to take RT.

No mod action. Business as usual.

Sadly, you did not understand what I wrote.
I wrote about "normal players".
Normal player will never get 1500 fusings in their playtime. 6L is never an option for normal players. If a normal player finds an Eternal Orb, he will use it as currency for trading some better gear.
The same is with Exalted Orb. A normal player will never use an Exalted on a piece of gear or map, with a decent chance to get +1 thorns or lightning radius or... A normal player will trade the Exalt for 20 Chaos, then trade some better gear from it.

So those expensive Orbs only have "currency value" for 99% of players - but no "crafting value". They would never bother using any of this.
The introduction of the "Eternal Orb" really doesn't change anything for most players. Only the best of the best can profit from it, and make their almost perfect gear even better.

That's not good game design in my opinion. Instead you can see GGG catering to the streamers (all above Kripp) with such features. Because they think streamers = gamers nowadays. But that's not really true.

That said, I'm both a fan of PoE and of Kripp. But I fear PoE will die eventually if that is the direction of game developement. They should work on the basic mechanics (like fluid gameplay and desync) and open new possibilities (in crafting, PvP, etc) for everyone, so that all players profit from it. Not only new stuff for fulltime players, like this orb or 636457 new uniques. That is wasted developement time if you want to survive as a company.

Ok....
I have a marauder and I have
and I use 4 endurance charges backed up with
with these items I get 90% physical dmg reduction, all my elemental resistances are set up to 82% except chaos which is -30%...
Now you gonna LOWER MY LIFE and instead you will give me MORE ARMOUR!!!
HOW (not)AWESOME!!!! SInce your armour calcultaion looks like function: y=1/x you gonna take me like what a 1k life from my 3.4k and you gonna give me an ALLMIGHTY 1% more armour after my buffs (if of course there is no cap at 90%)???
And you supposed to beef up melee, instead you gice acrobatic a lovely boost, oh wait acrobatic is sooooo close to my marauder I'll be there in less than 5 levels.... not

C'mon you take one thing and instead give another, THAT IS NOT THE WAY to boost things.

But anyway. I'm gonna try, once again but if this isn't working.... hey an elders scrolls online coming soon!
First of all, restarting a new character in one of the two leagues doesn't bother me very much, because I don't mind testing out all the changes from the start of the game. It actually may be a better idea to completely rebuild a character regarding all the changes.

Starting in Anarchy seems very interesting because of the new enemy types and their drops. The big downside for me is that the character will be moved to standard when the league is over or when I die, I basically refuse to play softcore.

So that takes me to Onslaught which may be very difficult, I tried one or two Turbo leagues but died quickly both times. I know the difficulty in Onslaught will be less though than Turbo mode but how much?
Also of course the new enemy types will not be there and I would miss the fun in killing them and their loot. However you could interpret the following statement in the announcement "It's likely we'll try them out in hardcore leagues in the future" as "they might need rebalancing". And of course I surely will get drops without them too.

So I think I will go for Onslaugt but what about the items? I don't see a lot of feedback on those..
What will the new base items in the screenshot do and what about the new and removed uniques?
Will the Onslaught uniques be better than the ones in Anarchy? And what is the point in removing for example Kaom's Heart? Is it possible it is permanently removed later?

BTW: Love the melee improvements a lot!

Yes you're right, but still it will eventually be a softcore character and I would rather end up in hardcore.

I'm really wondering about the stuff that will come after those 4 months though, if there will be more big changes coming that would need a character rebuild I could just as well start in Anarchy.

ALso I don't really understand "It's likely we'll try them out in hardcore leagues in the future."
Why not add the hostile exiles to just Onslaught and not default hardcore?

They said they're gonna reduce monster damage to compensate for the life loss, so don't worry. And nice armor you have there:)

Is that a set of level 90 Uniques or 90 different kinds of Uniques?
Ascension tied to Lab is the worst thing GGG has done...apart from GGG's philosophy on Trading. Oh and Gambling Loot boxes. And selling out to tencent.

I used to love GGG. I supported to ensure GGG remained independent, now I just wish I could get my money back. -_-
