Path of Exile 0.11.0

Once question regarding the armor changes - will this also apply to mobs? Meaning will multistrike+physical be even worse than now? Should I just keep on multi+ele?

^you will have all the skills, you will need to click an icon to respec.

No mod action. Business as usual.

I don't think reducing the potency of life nodes is particularly sensible.

If you reduce physical damage output from monsters but also reduce the potency of life nodes, you still end up with Path of Life Nodes. At least on hardcore.

I can understand the devs wanting to buff the relative power of armour, but if you still need the same actual number of life nodes then that part of the balance wasn't successful.

However this is speculatory as we don't yet know how the mini-keystones are being buffed.

Considering when you log into her after patch you wont have any passive skill points, I believe you will see her with less then 2k ES :P

The respec is optional, and will not automatically apply when you log in.

i read potential es reductions...

many high lvl currently play low life with regen or vaal pact. are u aware that reducing the es amount overall can severely cripple a ton of players out there? same goes for more reflect one allready has to build around that with large es pools and reducing your own dmg .. how much worse will it get? like are we talking about 10% 20 % 50 %? overall reduction?

They're giving a FULL, read it FULL respec to every single character.

People can either use it to fix their builds so that they're not hurt by the changes, or completely change builds if they feel that it's not worth it.

That the best thing they can do for those people, other than "never balance the game again", but this is a closed BETA and it was bound to happen at some point.

I really like the way GGG did this passive reset. The ability to see how your current char is pathed on the passives before redoing it helps a lot. The fact that you can test drive your character for a time to see how the rebalancing effects them before taking the respec is the icing on the cake. We should be able to see how the monster damage vs life reduction is helping or hurting our particular builds and then adjust accordingly.

You will have to use it at some stage, or else the button will sit there forever (untill you use a refund point or use a new passive point(and lose the button):P

I realy like the work GGG is doing. Especially the approach how to develop the game, how to communicate with the community and how to earn money. For me it seems this will be a win-win situation: Glad players who are willing to pay for an excellent product for free.

This patch seems to fix major problems which are in the game and will also introduce new exciting stuff like completly new leagues, so all in all nice work again GGG!!!

There is one point which I (as many others) dont understand:

There are so many "Hardcore ONLY" players like me who will never touch Standard league. Why does GGG exclude us from playing Anarchie League?

It feels like a random choice for me even if I try to understand your line of thought. There are smart solutions to include Hardcore players into the Anarchie League!!

Please GGG, think about it again...

Looks good. i dont see how acrobatics is better since i dont have any armor or ES at all. Only buffs hybrid build.. the feek

With monster damage being down across the board I think acrobatics builds will be significantly more viable, half ES/armor is just a cherry on top really, so you don't have to be pigeonholed into using pure evasion items while leveling if you choose to get acrobatics before end game.

That armor or es mods will have some benefit will mean a lot more gear is potentially worth using for acrobatics characters. Anytime you can turn a death into a near death survival is definitely a win for players who like to live on the razor's edge.

That's what optional means.

Eternal Orbs are extremely rare but provide a very useful function in the crafting system.

I personally think they should be a little more rare than exalteds. The ramifications for high level crafts trans/alt/regal/exalting is huge. Much bigger than exalteds themselves.

I hope they are not any rarer than exalted. In almost 10 months of playing, I've found exactly 3 Exalted orbs, and seen 2 more drop. I know there are people that treat them penny candy, but for players who like to find their own items and craft they are already pushing the boundaries on obtaining.

I would be ok if they made them almost as rare as Exalted and then provide a reasonable recipe for exalted (vendor a stack of GCPs and a +20% skill gem of each color for example).

PoE doesn't need any more $10,000 dollar bill currencies.
