Australian Test Gateway Feedback (Updated)
" Exact same thing happened to me in S2E210 just now - couldn't get up the stairs in Lioneyes Watch, and when I relogged nothing in town was clickable. I switched to America, all fine. I've noticed, switching between servers over this last week, that the Aussie server makes the game much more fun, and actually puts some skill into PoE since dodging attacks, or not standing in fire, actually prevents damage. But problems like this, disconnects, major desyncs, are far more common. I can play on america or Singapore for days with 200-1000 ping, and consistently Rhoa charges do damage regardless of where they hit, mobs often die a while after I hit them, but other than that the game runs fine. No crashes, no noticable desync beyond what the high ping is causing. Then on Aussie server, I have pings of 18-24 (Newcastle, iiNet, ADSL 1) and it feels like a different game, which is brilliant, but I can't go an hour without seeing major bugs like immortal mobs wandering around looking lost, rubber banding half-way across an area, etc. |
The rubberbanding has been happening to me in every race I have played on the Aus server.

yeah something a bit fishy is going on, as soon as i TP back to town i start lagging out like crazy, yet when im in a different zone its fine, constant 50 ping.
now when i log back in it just lags out in town, is the town aspect on a different server or something? because i share it with other people? i dunno |
Keep getting booted out of maps and etc with either "This operation has timed out" or "Failed to join instance Disconnected from server" messages. It is getting kind of irritating but besides that, the lag spikes have decreased since it was first launched.
I keep getting kicked with this message "This operation requires the account to be logged in" only on the Aus server, seems to happen randomly.

something weird going on. logging into the "Australia" server I've gone from a stable 45 - 50ms up to 200 - 210ms latency from New Zealand. pretty much exact same latency as the Singapore server now :/.. hard going back to high ping again after getting used to 50ms
anyone else having this problem? my latency is still 200ms from new zealand

this is my tracert

yeah I'm seeing the same thing.
200ms on the Australian gateway from wgtn, nz. Used to get constant 50ms which I have now become severely accustomed to :) from my tracert it appears the DNS is routing me to Australia via the US .. which is both unexpected and highly sucky.

seems you are getting the same timed out as i am. i suspect that is the cause of our problem.
