Australian Test Gateway Feedback (Updated)

Been playing a bit on it, and so far experience has been pretty good.
Dropped from 130ping on the singapore server to 30 ping. Other than the occasional ping spike (up to 300-600 for a few seconds) the new server has been pretty good. gone from 350 (america) to 80-100 ish. def a lot smoother than before. i likes.

" aussie servers been real stable past few days ME LIKEY!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

I am still getting regular lag spikes on the aussie gateway.

The spikes are still there, much less frequent than at the gateway's inception however.
Also: 40 ping constantly is epic DOWNSIDE: Can't play with my north-American friends. If we group, both of our pings become rubbish (kinda expected, but I feel I should mention it) IGN: Asgarin, WithEasy, Hi_Im_Octavius, Of_Sanctuary Based in NZ: Old school D2 HC (Classic, LOD) gamer. still some massive lag spikes and delays but I tested at a busy time where normally it lags bad anyway, will check later at a better time

These are the issues i've had since it became available. (I love it btw)
- Lag spikes (600-1000) - Putting in maps, then everyone who tried to enter instance.. their game dcd them. - Sometimes not being able to join town instances - Logging in issues (goes to character select, then back to login screen) Last edited by KingRinald#3533 on May 26, 2013, 12:46:53 PM

Is the gateway down at the moment? Around 3:00am UTC I got disconnected and when I try to connect it says 'an unexpected disconnection has occurred'.
As for feedback, the gateway has been working fine the past week or so, up until now. Lag spikes are non existent any more, or very small jump from my usual 30ms to 80ms. This gateway is much appreciated by my friends and I GGG. First ARPG/MMO that I know of to get Aus gateway. :) I'm on Optus cable in Brisbane btw. |

50ms down from 250. Its amazing: I press buttons and stuff happens! As a second test im not getting dropped every time i change zones if I accidentally leave uTorrent running.
