Australian Test Gateway Feedback (Updated)

omg this is just so good!!!!!
i got around 50ping

I'm in Auckland and am getting 60 ping mostly with the odd spike up to 200 or 300... considering i was getting 250 full time before no matter where i logged in this is AMAZING!!!!

ok i do have to edit this... as soon as i leave town the ping in many cases sits at a steady 250, which is about the same as i get on the American and Singaporean servers.

are you going into someone elses instance? that has per chance been created on the America or Singapore or Europe gateway?

cause you will see your ping reflect the region the instance was created on. likewise for any US players entering your Australia gateway areas.

Just tried it today morning. Hitting about 15 ms constantly with rare spikes to 50. Love it!

This just might be what I need to get back in after a break.

Occurs maybe once very 5 or 10 minutes, sometimes more.

TPG ADSL 2 sydney user here.

still around 30-50 ping on avg so I will still play on the australia server i guess.

EDIT : VIOLENT RESYNC OCCURS A FEW TIMES EVERY MINUTE

been playing on 230+ ping on US server and 380 on sg server.
However with this new server im sitting comfortably at 40ms

I am having a weird issue, every server I log onto after I have logged onto the Australian server gives me 30 ping (and I know all the other servers are meant to give me 200ms)

I am not sure if I am actually able to change back to the old servers?

EDIT: Yeah I just realised I was being a noob =P, I forgot that the instance stays the same when you create it because I was checking from a new character (sitting on the beach @ the start of a race)

try moving to a different area, might help.

when u log into a zone e.g terrace on the US server, even if u change gateway ull still be in the US gateway when u enter that same terrace.

Still seeing the 1-3 second lag spikes every few minutes.

The spikes... unbearable T_T

The ping ... so good and smooth

Ohh the tradeoff is it wortth???
