Australian Test Gateway Feedback (Updated)

I played for a few hrs tonight and the lag spikes were often and got my char at merciless killed once.
Played for 5 mins more and another death caused by the lag spike... switching back to America gateway for this time being.
Yeah better wait till the server is stabilized.

Hardcore mode fan since d2 classic! Afk-ing mostly o_O. Doing Lunaris 3 and slowly progressing :P
Same stability issues. Ping is good but the lag spikes are even worse now and making me disconnect sometimes.

Just play and not level. :)
The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

Ya, it sux. O well, I must be getting old, that 200ms from the America gateway is not all that bad compared to my slow response time. ^_^
Just spent the last 8 hrs on the Aussie gateway.All I can say is a big thankyou GGG.I never realised how disadvantaged I was prior. In 8 hours I didn't once experience resync, and monsters died when they were supposed to not 2 seconds later. The only glitch I had was a soft lag spike when ever I changed zones , same thing when switching from one stash tab to another. On one occasion a waypoint "timed out" and crashed the client, but all in all I know I will be logging in fron the Aus gateway from now on. so Thankyou again GGG.

I'm very happy with the new gateway despite only putting a half hour or so. But if the speed remains at a stable 40-50ms with the occasional lag spike then ill be playing a lot more hereon.

Hits connect when they're suppose to connect with monsters and stuff dies when/where its suppose to die.

There is still the slight delay when clicking on containers and chests to open them.

Hopefully you can sustain the income to keep the servers up for many years to come-seems like ill be heading to the store to buy some more crap :).

haven't had a spike since it came back up about 15 min ago... looking good.

So after about 40 mins of merry slaying I have not had one hiccup. No server spikes at all.

0% loss and 14ms average to au.login.pathofexile.com.

Ping statistics for 119.252.190.195:
Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 100, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 14ms, Maximum = 21ms, Average = 15ms

Looking a lot better than yesterday where ping was spiking up over 2k every 20-30 seconds.
