I feel like you are going out of your way to nit pick small differences in the game in order to dismiss the overwhelming evidence that the fact poe2 went from 500k to 80-100k is not abnormal. All similar mmo titles experience this.
Except there is a minority of people who are here on the forums who are trying to spin these numbers to get the devs to make the second game poe1 but with better graphics. Just stop. Move on. Wait for 3.26. It's only a month away and then you can leave our game alone. I bet 3.26 will have 150k people playing on steam max before it drops off a cliff one week later | |

For me the league feels empty. Everyone who actually played PoE1 and participated in the economy knows what I'm talking about. Seems like the majority of the playerbase actually plays the campaign over and over again. And I don't actually care about them, if it is fun for them - sure, why not? Trying different builds can be fun. But they are not contributing to the economy, thus making it harder for me to judge how empty the game actually is. That said, I have 10 people in my friendlist and nobody plays, I myself play only from time to time. It never felt that bad even in PoE1 2 weeks into the league.
